Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten disposal time at an aeration tank, to compact the device comparatively, to lessen installing space, and to also simplify the maintenance of the device, by a method wherein the waste water of a kitchen which contains a large quantity of oils and fats and the contents of BOD and SS are also comparatively high is removed as suspended matter by means of a floating separation tank at the first stage as it remains as it is not decomposed.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water 1 discharged from a kitchen is aerated under the existence of activated sludge in an aeration tank 2, a high molecule group coagulant 11 is added to the waste water on its way of transfer to a floating separation tank 6 at the first stage while the waste water is contacted with minute bubbles from a pipe mixer 10 to form suspended matter, and the suspended matter is removed by means of a suspending separation tank 6. The waste water, which is floating separation-disposed, is aerated under the existence of activated carbon with a contact material 18, a high molecule group coagulant 11' is added to the waste water aerated, the waste water is again contacted with minute bubbles from a pipe mixer 10', and suspended matter formed is separated and removed 24 by means of a suspending separation tank 24.
