Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep the balance of motion of a rotary solenoid using the simply constructed bearings by a construction wherein the rotor magnetic poles are attracted and rotated toward the stator magnetic poles arranged around the outer circumference of the rotation locus of the rotor magnetic poles when a magnetic coil is energized.
CONSTITUTION: The fixed magnetic poles 2a, 3a are provided in the stator 1, and the non-magnetic sections 2b, 3b are formed having the indentical length with the magnetic pole length L. A coil 4 is arranged between the magnetic pole members 2 and 3 to magnetize the pole members in the opposite polarity. The rotor magnetic poles 13 and a rotor 12 are provided on a rotor shaft 11, and supported by the bearings members 8, 8. When the coil 4 is energaized, the rotor magnetic poles 13 which are positioned opposite to the non-magnetic sections 2b, 3b are attracted to the stator magnetic poles 2a, 3a which are arranged around the rotation locus of the rotor poles, and rotates to magnify the confronting areas. By this construction it can be possible to sustain the precise clearance between the rotor 13 and the magnetic poles 2a, 3a, even if the radial bearings are used.
