Abstract
PURPOSE: Laminate of vinyl chloride film and nonwoven fabric of fiberglass is coated with a plastisol of vinyl chloride and they are integrated by heating, thus producing floor covering materials good in dimensional stability, strength resisting water and interlaminar strength.
CONSTITUTION: After a laminate sheet of nonwoven fabiric of glass fiber and vinyl chloride film is coated with a vinyl chloride plastisol on the surface of the nonwoven fabric or vinyl film or a three-layered sheet made of one nonwoven glassfiber fabric sheet between two sheets of vinyl chloride film is coated with a vinly chloride plastisol, they are integrated by heating. The nonwoven fabric of fiberglass is composed of glass fibers and a binder and weights preferably 20W80g/m2. The binder is preferably, e.g., a thermosetting resin as phenolic or epoxy resin.
