Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the subject controller wherein in opening a main circuit switch of a DC motor to stop the motor, and generation of a counter electromotive voltage is prevented by a silicon rectifier and diodes.
CONSTITUTION: When a switch 1 is turned off and the supply of a current from a power source E to a motor 2 is interrupted, a counter electromotive voltage is going to be generated due to the inductance of the motor. However, since by the operations of the silicon rectifier 6 and diodes 3, 4 and 5, there is created a state equivalent to the case when the diodes D are connected in parallel to the motor circuit, and hence generation of the counter electromotive voltage is prevented by the diodes D.
