Abstract
PURPOSE: To raise the reliability of the controller and perfectly correct a stationary neutron detector located in the core of a reactor, by generating inside-shield position signals for a moving inside-reactor neutron detector by different means.
CONSTITUTION: A driving signal 18 is cut off by an AND circuit 21 and the moving inside-reactor neutron detector (TIP) 7 is stopped when a stopping signal 9 is generated by a limit switch 8 for the detection of the entry of the detector 7 into a lead shield 6 after a signal 20 for slowly pulling the detector out of the core of the reactor is produced. A signal produced by amplifying the output of a TIP detector position analogue detector 14 is compared with a set signal from a position setting circuit 23 by a comparator circuit 24. A signal indicating the coincidence of both the compared signals and a signal 25 from a digital position detector 13 are detected. The three different stopping signals, namely, the stopping signal 9, the coincidence signal and the signal 25 are applied to an OR circuit 26 to cut off the driving signal 18 by one stopping signal to stop the moving detector.
