【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】回路基板の板面に直交する方向から相手コ
ネクタと嵌合されるように前記回路基板に取り付けら
れ、細長のハウジング、該ハウジングの長さ方向に延び
る突壁の両側面に沿って配列されるコンタクト、及び前
記ハウジングの頂面側に係合し前記回路基板に向けて前
記ハウジングを押圧するよう締め付ける締め付け固定手
段を有する基板取付型コネクタにおいて、 前記突壁の前記長さ方向の複数の所定位置には、前記締
め付け固定手段を受容するための複数の貫通孔が形成さ
れることを特徴とする基板取付型コネクタ。
1. An elongated housing, which is attached to the circuit board so as to be fitted with a mating connector from a direction perpendicular to the board surface of the circuit board, and extends along both side surfaces of a projecting wall extending in the longitudinal direction of the housing. め付ける締め付け固定手段を有する基板取付型コネクタ
において、 前記ハウジングの全長の複数の所定位置に貫通孔が形成
され、 前記ハウジングの頂面に沿って配置される細長の第1の
金属板と、前記回路基板の前記基板取付型コネクタの装
着面とは逆面に配置される細長の第2の金属板とを更に
有し、 前記締め付け固定手段が前記貫通孔に受容されると共に
前記第1の金属板及び前記第2の金属板の両者に係合さ
れ、これにより前記第1の金属板及び前記第2の金属板
の間に前記ハウジングが前記回路基板と共に挟まれて固
定されるよう構成されることを特徴とする基板取付型コ
ネクタ。
2. The housing is received and engaged with both the first metal plate and the second metal plate, whereby the housing is sandwiched between the first metal plate and the second metal plate together with the circuit board.
