In a type of twisting machine that winds and rotates on the winder side, the insulated wires are gathered in a gathering die without twisting and twisted together. Join in the same direction. There is no problem if the twist applied to the insulated wire itself can be gathered → twisted while being uniformly applied in the longitudinal direction, but when the insulated wire passes through the gathering die, the twist due to rotation of the winder is squeezed It is transmitted to the delivery bobbin side), and as a result, the twist is accumulated between the collecting plate and the delivery bobbin.

Therefore, in the past, a twisting machine was used on the sending side to twist the insulated wire, and then the assembly-> twisting process was performed. When twisting back was performed on the sending side in this way, the number of twisting rotations could not be increased (maximum 250 rpm). Further, the twisting machine is expensive, which increases the manufacturing cost of the twisted electric wire. Further, since the twisting machine itself is large, there is a problem in terms of space factor.

In the method of gathering and twisting by winding and rotating on the winder side, as an insulated electric wire sent from each bobbin, an electric wire with a protrusion protruding from the surface of the coating and having a continuous convex portion in the longitudinal direction is used, and it is sent out. The twist transmitted to the bobbin side is prevented, and the twist can be performed while maintaining a uniform rotation direction. It is preferable that the protrusions of the electric wire with protrusions be provided in a straight line along the axial direction of the electric wire.

By twisting it in the direction of the arrow b and twisting it, it is wound up while being twisted as a predetermined twisted electric wire 5.

From the collecting plate 3 to the collecting die 4. Now, when twist is applied in the direction of rotation A by the winder 6, twist in the direction of rotation B is also applied to the wire with protrusions 2 on the sending side. In the electric wire with protrusions 2 to which the rotation is applied, the twist in the rotation B direction applied to itself is made uniform in the convex portion 23, and the twist is not accumulated.

A convex portion having a semicircular cross section is raised on the surface of the insulating coating 22 applied on the conductor 21 and is formed in a straight line along the axial direction of the electric wire. With such straight convex portions, it is possible to reliably perform twisting while maintaining the rotation direction B uniformly.

Therefore, if twisting due to winding / rotation on the winder side tries to add to the sending side, the protrusions on the wire itself allow twisting while maintaining a uniform direction of rotation, so twisting of the wire on the sending side It is possible to perform predetermined assembly → twisting without using a twisting machine on the sending side without accumulating. Along with this, the number of rotations for twisting can be significantly increased, and the effect of not using a twisting back machine is that the manufacturing cost is reduced and the space factor is improved.
