に冷却し緻密層とした後、モ−ルドキャビティを拡大し
て内部層12を発泡させればよい。またこの発明におい
て、靴底材1をポリウレタンで構成する場合、液状ポリ
ウレタンを、常温または40〜50℃に保温されたモ−
ルドに注型して成形すれば、その内部層12を発泡成形
し、その外側に1〜3mm程度の緻密な外部層11を有
する靴底材1を成形できるので便利である。このように
して成形された発泡靴底材1は、外部層11は緻密で見
掛密度が大な硬質層となり、内部層12は多泡性で見掛
密度が小で柔軟性とクッション性に富んだ層になる。従
って硬度差即ち部分的に低硬度を必要とする個所におい
て、外部層11をグラインダ−、スキ機を用いて外部層
