The dextrin on the surface of the transfer paper is removed, and the transfer paper is peeled off from the transferred object.

That is, when a color copying machine attempts to copy a transfer paper, there is a defect in that the toner coated on the coated surface of the transfer paper is peeled off by a roller. Therefore, printing of the transfer original onto the transfer paper described above is performed by so-called silk printing. However, this silk printing method has the disadvantage that it is not easy to attach the gauze to the gauze frame with uniform tension, and it is not easy to print the transfer pattern on the transfer paper.

The transfer paper 2 has a thin mount 4 and a total thickness of 120 microns or less so that it can be used in a color copying machine. The layer of dextrin 8 is made of a material having almost the same humidity sensitivity. As the raw material for the mount 4, Kura 7I pulp, sulfite pulp, or the like is used. The conditions for using the transfer paper 2 in a color copying machine include, firstly, that the thickness of the paper is moderate (for example, 120 μm or less), and secondly, that it does not undergo thermal deformation (curl). Regarding the first condition above, the transfer paper is

Regarding the conditions, the coating layer (dextrin 8
The humidity sensitivity of the layer) and the mount 4 side are set to be the same, the expansion/contraction rate of the entire transfer paper 2 is set to be the same, and the expansion/contraction rate of the entire transfer paper 2 is set to be the same. A transfer original is printed on the transfer paper 2 using a color copying machine 10. By this printing, colors 1 to 12 are applied on the 8 layers of dextrin of the transfer paper 2 in accordance with the pattern of the transfer document.

The toner 12 is transferred by pressing. Next, the transfer paper 2 is washed with water, the 8 layers of dextrin are removed, and the transfer paper 2 is peeled off from the transfer object 16 to complete the transfer operation. After the transfer, lacquer or the like is applied to the transfer surface to create a coating film on the surface and add durability.
