手動のガスコツク2から安全弁3を通り種火バー
ナ4とメインバーナ5に至る通路に分岐される。
メインバーナ5に至る通路には制御弁6を設け、
メインバーナ5をオンオフ制御する。7は制御回
路でガスコツク2と連動するスイツチ2′により
ガスコンロの使用中を検知し、安全弁3の開弁出
力を出し、種火バーナ4に点火器(図示せず)に
より点火する。8は調理物9の温度を検出する温
度センサで設定用可変抵抗器10の設定温度と比
較し、制御弁6のオンオフ信号を出力する。これ
によりメインバーナ5はオンオフ制御されるが種
火バーナ4は安全弁3が開いている間は燃焼して
いる。11は燃焼検知器で種火バーナ4が失火し
た場合や着火しなかつたことを検知し、制御回路

こともあり火災時の発生の原因となり非常に危険
である。また種火バーナがない機器であつても制
御動作でバーナが消火や微小カロリーになつた時
に調理終了とまちがえることもある。これはガス
オープンや電気コンロについても同じことが言え

定められた時間経過してもコツク2を閉じなけれ
ば自動的に安全弁3へ閉止出力を送りバーナ5を
消火させるように働く。ここで安全タイマ12の
予め定められた時間とは、調理器により異なる
が、通常の調理で使用する時間よりも長い時間を
選んでおくことにより使用者に不便を感じさせる
ことはない。コンロやオーブン等では2時間程度
