ツテ13に装填されたX線フイルムに撮影をおこ
なうことができる。この防護装置10が患者に配
置されたときに、側面部材20を構成している短
冊状部分の各々の下端は患者11およびヘツドの
表面形状にならつて曲がり、これらとの間に隙間
を生じることがなく、しかも短冊状部分自体がた
がいにオーバラツプしており、さらに短冊状部分
はX線を減弱あるいは遮断する材料からなつてい
るので、第2図に示すように、撮影に際して、主
に患者の体内より二次的に発生する散乱線として
本体14の外側に漏洩するX線を減弱させ、撮影
中の患者10のまわりにいる他の患者23にたい
するX線の被曝を防ぐことができ、たとえあつて
も、これをきわめて最小限にとどめることができ
る。なお、このX線防護装置では脚部材16〜1
9を枠部材15からはずすことができるため、こ
れらを枠部材15から取り外し、側面部材20を
たたむことによつて、きわめてコンパクトなもの
となり、たとえば移動形X線装置12に積んで運

におくだけでこれをなすことができる、きわめて
取り扱いの簡単なものである。
