Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the successive use of holding members, while said members are being set in a mold, without causing the members to remain in a molded item by holding a reinforcement member under pressure between the end surfaces of holding members provided in such a manner that they are protruded into the cavity of the mold when the mold is closed and retracted therefrom as the injection of resin is carried on. CONSTITUTION:A fixed mold 1 is combined with a movable mold 2, in which a reinforcement member 9 is held at predetermined locations in a cavity 6 by means of holding rods 4, 5 energized by springs 7, 7. Under such conditions, molten resin is injected into the cavity 6 through a sprue 3 from a nozzle 10 of an injection molding machine. Being injected and filled into the cavity 6, the molten resin is forced into a hole 91 of the member 9, so that the ends 42, 52 of the rods 4, 5 are pushed by the pressure of said resin. The pressure of the resin overcomes the spring force of the springs 7, 7, so that the rods 4, 5 retreat as far as the surfaces of the cavity 6 so as to eliminate the gaps 8, 8 between the bases 41, 51 of the rods 4, 5 and mounting plates 11, 21, whereby the filling of the resin is finished and a molded item A, i.e. a trough hanger, is formed.

By the way, the above publication does not contain any description of the method for manufacturing synthetic resin eaves gutter hangers, but in order to manufacture such synthetic resin eave gutter hangers, a mold corresponding to the shape of the hanger is required. It seems to be common to use an injection molding mold having a cavity and to mold the hanger by injecting and filling the mold cavity with molten resin, that is, the injection molding method.

However, the synthetic resin eaves gutter hanger described above has a structure in which a reinforcing material (a flat core material) is buried inside, and in order to obtain such a structure, it is necessary to remove the entire circumference of the reinforcing material. The reinforcing material must be injected and filled to cover the mold cavity, but since it is not possible to hold the reinforcing material in a predetermined position within the mold cavity while floating above the mold cavity surface, in reality, some kind of holder is used to hold the reinforcing material in the mold. The molten resin is injected and filled into the mold cavity while it is held in the cavity.

Therefore, this holder is also embedded in the obtained molded body (hanging tool), so the holder must be inserted into the mold every cycle of injection molding, which is cumbersome. .

In addition, the end face of the holder is exposed to the surface of the molded body, resulting in a poor appearance and, in the case of a metal reinforcing body, being susceptible to corrosion.

On the other hand, in order to avoid such problems, it is conceivable to remove the holder from the molded body after molding and fill the gap with resin, etc., but this work is extremely cumbersome and the parts filled later The appearance and strength were not sufficient.

In view of the above points, the method for producing a reinforced resin molded body of the present invention does not leave a holder in the molded body for holding the reinforcing body embedded in the molded body in the mold cavity, and the holder is made of metal. It is an object of the present invention to easily manufacture a reinforced resin molded article by allowing continuous use while it is set in a mold.

The method for manufacturing a reinforced resin molded article of the present invention is to inject and fill a mold cavity with molten resin while the reinforcing material is held at a predetermined position in the mold cavity, thereby producing a molded body in which the reinforcing material is embedded. A method for manufacturing, wherein the reinforcing material is used when the mold is closed;
It is characterized in that the tip of the rod that protrudes into the mold cavity and is retractable from within the mold cavity as the resin is injected and filled is held by pressing both sides of the reinforcing material, thereby: The above objectives are achieved.

Since the method for producing a reinforced resin molded article of the present invention has the configuration described above, the reinforcing material is held at a predetermined position in the mold cavity of the mold by pressing it from both sides by the holding rod until the injection filling of the resin begins. As the mold cavity is filled with resin, the holding rod is sequentially retracted by the pressure of the resin and retreats to the surface of the mold cavity. Therefore, the molten resin spreads around the entire circumference of the reinforcing material, and a molded body in which the reinforcing material is embedded is formed.

The fixed mold 1 and the movable mold 2 are closed and the reinforcing member 9 is attached to the holding rod 4.5.
When the mold cavity 6 is held at a predetermined position (FIG. 1), molten resin is injected and filled into the mold cavity 6 through the sprue 3 from the nozzle 10 of the injection molding machine. As the molten resin is injected and filled into the mold cavity 6, it enters the hole 91 of the reinforcing material 9, and the tip part 42 of both holding rods 4.5.

Since the method for manufacturing a reinforced resin molded article of the present invention has the above-described configuration, the reinforcing material is held at a predetermined location in the cavity of the mold by being pressed from both sides by the holding rod until filling with resin begins. As the mold cavity is filled with resin, the resin pressure causes the holding rod to retreat to the surface of the mold cavity. Therefore, the reinforcing material is properly held at a predetermined location and embedded within the molded object, so that a resin molded object in which the reinforcing material is embedded can be easily produced.
