Abstract

PURPOSE:To judge the time to exchange sterilizing UV lamp or the maintenance time and to maintain the sterilizing effect by detecting the output of the UV lamp by a visible light sensor and indicating the output. CONSTITUTION:The drinking water introduced from an inlet 5 is passed through a cartridge 9 packed with antibacterial activated carbon and purified. The purified water is sterilized by an UV lamp 8, then discharged from a discharge port 6 and supplied. The output of the lamp 8 is detected by the sensor of a visible light sensor part 10 from the outside of a water pipe, and the detected output is indicated on an output indicator. A decrease in the output due to the contamination of the lamp 8 is judged. Whether the lamp has to be decontaminated or exchanged is judged, and the normal function is maintained. Accordingly, the sterilizing power is kept.

Detailed Description of the Invention (Field of Industrial Application) This invention relates to an ultraviolet sterilizing water purifier that sterilizes drinking water using an ultraviolet lamp. (Prior Art) Methods for sterilizing drinking water using ultraviolet lamps are used in everything from household water purifiers to commercial water purifiers. By the way, the impurities contained in tap water itself have been increasing in recent years due to pollution in rivers. Additionally, in places such as Mansin, the system is such that water is first pumped into a tank on the roof and then distributed to each room, so if the tank gets dirty, water becomes even more contaminated.
When such water is sterilized using an ultraviolet lamp, the surface of the lamp becomes contaminated with impurities contained in the water as the amount of water processed increases. As a result, the output of the original lamp becomes smaller, causing the problem that the amount of ultraviolet light necessary to kill germs cannot be obtained. However, water purifiers that use conventional ultraviolet lamps have
There was no means to detect the intensity of germicidal radiation (ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 273 nm has the strongest germicidal power and is especially called germicidal radiation). Therefore, if dirt adheres to the lamp and the sterilizing ability becomes insufficient earlier than the lamp's original lifespan, the lamp may be used without being noticed. (For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 61-93889) Furthermore, there was no device that had a means for detecting the output of ultraviolet rays. The reason for this is that the sensor cannot be placed underwater, so it must be placed outside the water pipe in the sterilization section. Furthermore, if an ultraviolet sensor is used as a sensor, the structure becomes complicated because the outer part of the water pipe is made of an expensive material that transmits ultraviolet light, such as quartz glass or fluororesin. Therefore, conventional water purifiers that use ultraviolet lamps have the disadvantage that if dirt adheres to the lamps and the sterilizing ability becomes insufficient earlier than the lamp's original lifespan, the lamps may be used without being noticed. (Issue R to be solved by the invention) The present invention was proposed to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, and provides an ultraviolet sterilizing water purifier that can notify when maintenance is due by detecting and displaying the output of ultraviolet rays. The purpose is to provide (Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above-mentioned objects, the present invention provides a water purifier that sterilizes using an ultraviolet lamp, which detects the output of the ultraviolet lamp with a visible light sensor and displays the output. The gist of the invention is an ultraviolet sterilizing water purifier characterized by the provision of means. Furthermore, the gist of the present invention is an ultraviolet sterilizing water purifier that sterilizes with an ultraviolet lamp, which is characterized by being equipped with a sensor for detecting the intensity of germicidal radiation and a means for displaying the intensity of germicidal radiation. It is something. (Function) With the above-mentioned structure, the present invention can detect the intensity of ultraviolet rays using a visible light sensor and display the output. Additionally, the sensor can detect the intensity of germicidal radiation and display the intensity. Ultraviolet lamps have a unique spectral distribution, so the decrease in the output of germicidal radiation (ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 273 ns has the strongest germicidal power and is especially called germicidal radiation) can be reduced by visible light (
For example, this is related to a decrease in the output of light (with wavelengths of 435 and 543 nm), and it can be determined by a visible light sensor whether the sterilizing power is sufficient or insufficient. If the UV lamp's sterilizing power is insufficient, it can notify the user when it is time for maintenance such as replacing or cleaning the UV lamp. (Example) Next, an example of the present invention will be explained. It should be noted that the examples are merely illustrative, and within the scope of the spirit of the present invention,
Needless to say, various changes and improvements can be made. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an embodiment of the ultraviolet sterilizing water purifier of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the XY plane in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a schematic view of the germicidal radiation intensity display section. Figure 4 shows a cross-sectional view of a part of the germicidal ray sensor. In the figure, 1 is a pedestal, 2

17 is a scale, 17 is a lamp replacement notification display section, 18 is a protective glass, 19 is a visible light sensor, and 20 is a protective cover.
Therefore, drinking water is taken into the ultraviolet sterilizer water purifier through the water intake port 5. The drinking water is purified by passing water from the top to the bottom of the water purification cartridge 9 filled with antibacterial activated carbon. After the purified water is sterilized by the ultraviolet lamp B, it is supplied from the discharge port. By the way, the output of the ultraviolet lamp 8 is determined by the visible light sensor l.

It is configured to be displayed in Furthermore, Figures 1 to 4
In the figure, 7 is a germicidal radiation intensity display part, 10 is a part of an ultraviolet ray sensor, 15 is a germicidal radiation intensity indicator, 18 is an ultraviolet transmitting glass, and l9 is a germicidal radiation sensor. The sterilizing radiation sensor 19 detects the sterilizing radiation through the sterilizing radiation sensor 19. The germicidal radiation intensity is displayed by the germicidal radiation intensity indicator l5. Further, since a scale and countermeasures are displayed in parallel with the germicidal radiation intensity indicator l5, if maintenance is required, the ultraviolet lamp 8 can be replaced or cleaned. (Effects of the Invention) As described above, the present invention provides a water purifier that sterilizes with an ultraviolet lamp by providing a means for detecting the output of the ultraviolet lamp with a visible light sensor and displaying the output. Since it is possible to know the sterilization power, it has the effect of making it easy to determine when to perform maintenance such as replacing the lamp or cleaning the lamp. In addition, by installing a sensor to detect the germicidal ray intensity and a means to display the germicidal ray intensity in a water purifier that sterilizes with an ultraviolet lamp, you can directly know the sterilizing power of the lamp, so you can replace the lamp. It also has the effect of making it easier to determine when to perform maintenance such as cleaning the lamp.
