The problem that this invention aims to solve is to provide a storage device that is easy to use.

The storage device of the present invention, which has been made to solve the above problems , is a storage device in which a storage member forming a storage space in which stored items are stored is disposed so as to be displaceable relative to a support member, and is switchable between a first usage mode in which a user pulls one end of the storage member toward the user to place stored items in and out of the storage space, and a second usage mode in which the user pulls the other end of the storage member toward the user to place stored items in and out of the storage space, and the first usage mode stops the displacement of the storage member when the user pulls one end of the storage member toward the user, with a portion of one end of the storage space protruding outward beyond the support member, and the second usage mode stops the displacement of the storage member when the user pulls the other end of the storage member toward the user, with a pull-out operation stopper that stops the displacement of the storage member when a portion of the other end of the storage space protrudes outward beyond the support member, and the pull-out operation stopper is disposed integrally with a partition that divides the storage space .
Another storage device according to the present invention, which has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, is a storage device in which a storage member, in which a storage space in which stored items are stored, is formed, is disposed so as to be displaceable relative to a support member, and is switchable between a first usage mode in which a user pulls one end side of the storage member toward the user to make it possible to put items in and take items out of the storage space, and a second usage mode in which the user pulls the other end side of the storage member toward the user to make it possible to put items in and take items out of the storage space, and is characterized in that in the first usage mode, when the user pushes one end side of the storage member toward the back, the displacement of the storage member is stopped when the storage space is located inside the support member, and in the second usage mode, when the user pushes the other end side of the storage member toward the back, the displacement of the storage member is stopped when the storage space is located inside the support member.

The storage device of the present invention is easy to use because it can be switched between the first and second usage modes.

A storage device 1 (storage case) according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the following description, the width direction, sliding direction, and up-down (height) direction refer to the X direction, Y direction, and Z direction, respectively, as shown in the figure. In this embodiment, the storage device 1 can be freely switched by the user between a first usage mode (see FIG. 1) in which one end of the storage member 2 (described in detail later) is pulled out toward the user to allow storage and removal of stored items, and a second usage mode (see FIG. 2) in which the other end of the storage member 2 is pulled out toward the user to allow storage and removal of stored items. In other words, the direction in which the storage member 2 is pulled out can be reversed.

The storage device 1 comprises a storage member 2 and a support member 5 that supports the storage member 2 (see Figs. 1 and 2). In this embodiment, the storage member 2 and the support member 5 are both made of resin. The storage member 2 is provided so as to be displaceable in the sliding direction relative to the support member 5. The storage member 2 is a so-called "drawer" portion, and is a member in which a storage space 31 in which stored items are formed. In this embodiment, the storage member 2 comprises a main body member 3 and an accessory member 4 (see Figs. 1 to 3). The main body member 3 is a substantially box-shaped member in which the storage space 31 is formed. The storage space 31 is a space that is open toward the top (all sides except the top are closed). In other words, the top is the entrance to the storage space 31, and stored items can be placed in and removed from there.

The accessory member 4 is a member that is detachably attached to the main body member 3. Specifically, the accessory member 4 is attached to either one end side or the other end side (opposite side of the one end) of the main body member 3 in the sliding direction. In this embodiment, the accessory member 4 includes a front plate portion 41 and an attachment piece 42 (see FIG. 3). The main body member 3 is provided with a portion (a recess (groove) in this embodiment) on both one end side and the other end side in the sliding direction, on which the attachment piece 42 having the same structure is hooked. Therefore, by pressing the accessory member 4 against one end face or the other end face of the main body member 3, the attachment piece 42 is elastically deformed, and the accessory member 4 is fixed to the support member 5 so that it does not move. Even if the accessory member 4 is fixed to the main body member 3, the accessory member 4 can be removed from the support member 5 by elastically deforming the attachment piece 42. Such a structure for attaching and detaching the accessory member 4 to the main body member 3 is merely an example. As long as the accessory member 4 can be detachably fixed to either one end or the other end of the main body member 3 (this can be done by the user of the storage device 1), the detachable structure can be of any type.

Whether the accessory member 4 is fixed to one end side or the other end side of the main body member 3, its widthwise center is approximately the same as the widthwise center of the main body member 3. Since the accessory member 4 (front plate portion 41) has a greater widthwise length than the main body member 3, a part of the accessory member 4 (front plate portion 41) protrudes outward in the widthwise direction from both sides of the main body member 3 (see FIG. 5). In the following description, the form of the storage member 2 in which the accessory member 4 is fixed to one end side of the main body member 3 is called the "first form" (see FIG. 5(a)), and the form of the storage member 2 in which the accessory member 4 is fixed to the other end side of the main body member 3 is called the "second form" (see FIG. 5(b)). As will be described later, when the storage device 1 is used in the first usage mode, the storage member 2 is in the first form, and when the storage device 1 is used in the second usage mode, the storage member 2 is in the second form.

The front panel 41 constitutes the front surface of the storage member 2, which is a "drawer." In both the first and second usage modes, the front surface of the front panel 41 is the design surface of the "drawer." Since the front panel 41 constitutes the front surface of the "drawer," it is preferable that the front panel 41 be formed with a portion on which the user can hook their hand when pulling out the storage member 2. In this embodiment, a notch 43 is formed below the front panel 41 (see Figures 3 and 4), and by hooking their hand here, the operation of pulling the storage member 2 towards themselves can be easily performed.

The support member 5 supports the storage member 2 so that it can be displaced in the sliding direction. The support member 5 has a space (support space 51) into which the main body member 3 constituting the storage member 2 can enter (see Figs. 1 and 2). The support space 51 is open on both sides in the sliding direction, which serve as the entrance to the support space 51 (the main body member 3 can be inserted and removed from the support space 51 through the entrance). The support space 51 may be open at a location other than the entrance, but the main body member 3 cannot be inserted or removed from a location other than the entrance. When viewed in a cross section cut along a plane (XZ plane) perpendicular to the sliding direction, the size of the support space 51 is formed slightly larger than the size of the main body member 3, so the main body member 3 can enter the support space 51. On the other hand, when viewed in the same cross section, the size of the accessory member 4 (front plate portion 41) is larger than the size of the support space 51 (see Figs. 1, 2, and 4), so the accessory member 4 (front plate portion 41) cannot enter the support space 51. Specifically, the accessory member 4 (front plate portion 41) has a portion that protrudes outward from the entrance of the support space 51, so the periphery of the entrance in the support member 5 gets in the way and the accessory member 4 (front plate portion 41) cannot enter the support space 51. In this embodiment, the width of the accessory member 4 (front plate portion 41) is set to be approximately the same as the width of the support member 5.

At least one of the support member 5 and the storage member 2 is preferably provided with a structure that supports (guides) the sliding of the storage member 2 relative to the support member 5. In this embodiment, the support member 5 is formed with a guide portion 52 that is a protruding portion that protrudes toward the inside in the width direction (toward the support space 51) and extends in the sliding direction. Meanwhile, the storage member 2 (main body member 3) is formed with a guided portion 32 that is a protruding portion that protrudes toward the outside in the width direction and extends in the sliding direction (see Figures 1 and 2). The storage member 2 slides relative to the support member 5 while the guide portion 52 and the guided portion 32 are kept engaged (in contact).

The storage devices 1 are preferably designed to be stackable vertically (two or more storage devices 1 can be stacked vertically). In this embodiment, an upper groove 531 is provided on the upper side of the support member 5, and a lower protrusion 532 is provided on the lower side of the support member 5 (FIGS. 1 and 2), and the storage devices 1 can be stacked vertically by fitting the lower protrusion 532 of the upper storage device 1 into the upper groove 531 of the lower storage device 1. In this way, it is preferable that structures that engage when stacked vertically are provided on the upper and lower sides of the support member 5.

In addition, it is preferable that the underside of the storage device 1 (support member 5) is provided with a structure that allows for the attachment of casters or other devices that allow the storage device 1 to be easily moved. In other words, the storage device 1 can be installed as is, or it can be installed in a state that allows for easy movement by attaching casters or the like.

The storage device 1 in this embodiment includes a partition member 6. The partition member 6 is a resin member that is attached to the main body member 3. In this embodiment, a groove portion 33 that is long in the vertical direction is formed on the inside widthwise direction of the main body member 3 (the storage space 31 side). A plurality of the groove portions 33 are formed side by side in the sliding direction. The partition member 6 can be attached to the main body member 3 by inserting the partition member 6 into one of the groove portions 33 (inserting both widthwise sides of the partition member 6 into the groove portions 33) (see FIG. 3).

The partition member 6 has a partition portion 61 and a protruding portion 62 (see Figs. 3 and 4). The partition portion 61 is a plate-shaped portion that divides the storage space 31. Specifically, the partition portion 61 is a portion along a plane (XZ plane) perpendicular to the sliding direction, and is a portion that approximately divides the storage space 31 in the sliding direction. In other words, the storage space 31 is divided into a space on one side of the partition portion 61 and a space on the other side. Hereinafter, the one side of the partition portion 61 is referred to as the first storage space 311, and the other side is referred to as the second storage space 312. As described above, since the main body member 3 has a plurality of groove portions 33 formed in a line in the sliding direction, the position at which the partition member 6 is attached to the main body member 3 can be changed. The sizes of the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312 change depending on the attachment position of the partition member 6. The first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312 are in a relationship in which if one is made larger, the other becomes smaller. In addition, it is preferable that one of the mounting positions of the partition member 6 (one of the multiple grooves 33) is a position where the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312 are approximately the same size. In other words, it is preferable that the mounting position of the partition member 6 is set to approximately equally divide the storage space 31 in half (the mounting position of the partition member 6 shown in FIG. 3 is a position that approximately equally divides the storage space 31 in half).

The protrusion 62 is a portion provided above the partition 61 (see Figs. 3 and 4). In this embodiment, the protrusion 62 is made of a softer material (relatively flexible resin) than the partition 61. At least a portion of the upper side of the protrusion 62 protrudes above the storage space 31 (main body member 3). When the storage member 2 to which the partition member 6 is attached attempts to pass through the entrance of the support space 51, the protrusion 62 comes into contact with the contact portion 55 provided above the entrance of the support space 51. Since the protrusion 62 is a flexible part, the protrusion 62 is pressed against the contact portion 55 and is flexible when the storage member 2 is pushed toward the support space 51. When the storage member 2 is pushed in with a certain amount of force, the flexible protrusion 62 overcomes the contact portion 55, and the storage member 2 enters the support space 51 (see Fig. 4).

The characteristics (switching of usage modes) of the storage device 1 configured in this manner are as follows. As described above, the accessory member 4 can be attached to either one end or the other end of the main body member 3 in the sliding direction. When the storage device 1 is used in the first usage mode, it is in a first configuration in which the accessory member 4 is attached to one end of the main body member 3 (see FIG. 5(a)). When the storage device 1 is used in the second usage mode, it is in a second configuration in which the accessory member 4 is attached to the other end of the main body member 3 (see FIG. 5(b)).

The storage space 31 is divided into a first storage space 311 and a second storage space 312 by a partition member 6 (partition portion 61). The first storage space 311 stores objects to be put in and taken out when used in the first usage mode. The second storage space 312 stores objects to be put in and taken out when used in the second usage mode. As described above, in this embodiment, the sizes of the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312 change depending on the mounting position of the partition member 6, so the mounting position of the partition member 6 can be determined depending on the objects to be stored in the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312. For example, if clothes are to be stored as objects to be stored, it is conceivable to store summer clothes (summer clothes) in the first storage space 311 and winter clothes (winter clothes) in the second storage space 312 (hereinafter, the characteristics of the storage device 1 will be described assuming such use). However, such use is merely an example. Items that are used differently depending on the time of year (season) or the occasion can be stored separately (in the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312).

When the first usage mode is selected (a usage mode in which summer clothes can be taken in and out), the storage member 2 is in the first configuration. When the storage member 2 in the first configuration is pushed into the support space 51 (the protrusion 62 is flexed and deformed to push the storage member 2 into the support space 51), it becomes possible to pull out one end side (the first storage space 311 side) of the storage member 2 toward the front/push it inward (see Figs. 6(a) and 7(a)). When one end side of the storage member 2 is pulled out toward the front, the first storage space 311 is opened outside the support member 5, so that the stored item (summer clothes) stored in the first storage space 311 can be taken in and out (see the lower diagrams of Figs. 6(a) and 7(a)).

Here, when one end side (first storage space 311 side) of the storage member 2 is pulled out toward the front (pulled out from the support space 51), the protrusion 62 of the partition member 6 comes into contact with the contact portion 55 of the support member 5 when the first storage space 311 is substantially entirely opened (see the lower diagram of FIG. 7(a)), which acts as a resistance to the pull-out operation. In other words, the partition member 6 (protrusion 62) functions as a stopper (pulling-out operation stopper) that stops the displacement of the storage member 2 (sliding toward the outside of the support space 51) when the first storage space 311, which is a part of the storage space 31, protrudes outside the support member 5. As described above, the protrusion 62 is a part that is deflected and deformed, but since a corresponding force is required to deform it enough to overcome the contact portion 55, the protrusion 62 functions sufficiently as a stopper. In this way, the partition member 6 (projection 62) comes into contact with the contact portion 55 provided near the entrance of the support space 51, thereby stopping the pull-out operation, and the second storage space 312 remains contained within the support space 51. In other words, if the partition member 6 (projection 62) functions as a stopper, the second storage space 312 will not protrude outside the support member 5 (see the lower diagrams of FIG. 6(a) and FIG. 7(a)).

On the other hand, when one end side (first storage space 311 side) of storage member 2 is pushed inward (pushed into support space 51), the front plate portion 41 of accessory member 4 comes into contact with one end face of support member 5 when the entire storage space 31 is contained within support space 51 (inside support member 5), so the pushing operation is stopped and storage member 2 is not displaced any further (see the upper diagram of FIG. 6(a) and the upper diagram of FIG. 7(a)). In other words, accessory member 4 (front plate portion 41), which can be attached and detached to main body member 3, functions as a stopper (pushing operation stopper) that stops the displacement of storage member 2 (sliding toward the inside of support space 51).

When the second usage mode is selected (a usage mode in which winter clothes can be taken in and out), the storage member 2 is in the second configuration. When the storage member 2 in the second configuration is pushed into the support space 51 (the protrusion 62 is bent and deformed to push the storage member 2 into the support space 51), the other end side (the second storage space 312 side) of the storage member 2 can be pulled out/pushed in (see Figs. 6(b) and 7(b)). When the other end side of the storage member 2 is pulled out, the second storage space 312 is opened outside the support member 5, so that the stored item (winter clothes) stored in the second storage space 312 can be taken in and out (see the lower diagrams of Figs. 6(b) and 7(b)).

Here, when the other end side (second storage space 312 side) of the storage member 2 is pulled out toward the front (pulled out from the support space 51), the protrusion 62 of the partition member 6 comes into contact with the contact portion 55 of the support member 5 when the second storage space 312 is substantially entirely opened, and acts as a resistance to the pull-out operation. In other words, the partition member 6 (protrusion 62) functions as a stopper (pulling-out operation stopper) that stops the displacement of the storage member 2 (sliding toward the outside of the support space 51) when the second storage space 312, which is a part of the storage space 31, protrudes outside the support member 5. As described above, the protrusion 62 is a part that is deflected and deformed, but since a corresponding force is required to deform it enough to overcome the contact portion 55, the protrusion 62 functions sufficiently as a stopper. In this way, the partition member 6 (projection 62) comes into contact with the contact portion 55 provided near the entrance of the support space 51, thereby stopping the pull-out operation, and the first storage space 311 remains contained within the support space 51. In other words, if the partition member 6 (projection 62) functions as a stopper, the first storage space 311 will not protrude outside the support member 5 (see the lower diagrams of Figures 6(b) and 7(b)).

On the other hand, when the other end side (second storage space 312 side) of the storage member 2 is pushed inward (pushed into the support space 51), the front plate portion 41 of the accessory member 4 comes into contact with the other end face of the support member 5 when the entire storage space 31 is contained within the support space 51 (inside the support member 5), so the pushing operation is stopped and the storage member 2 is not displaced any further (see the upper diagram of FIG. 6(b) and the upper diagram of FIG. 7(b)). In other words, the accessory member 4 (front plate portion 41), which is detachable from the main body member 3, functions as a stopper (pushing operation stopper) that stops the displacement of the storage member 2 (sliding toward the inside of the support space 51).

As described above, the storage device 1 according to this embodiment can be switched between a first usage mode in which an object can be put in and taken out of the first storage space 311 by pulling out one end of the storage member 2, and a second usage mode in which an object can be put in and taken out of the second storage space 312 by pulling out the other end of the storage member 2. In other words, it is easy to use as it can be switched between the first usage mode and the second usage mode while storing objects in the storage space 31 (first storage space 311, second storage space 312). If it is used to store clothes (summer clothes and winter clothes) as described above, there is an advantage that there is no need to change clothes according to the change of seasons (it is sufficient to change the usage mode while storing both summer clothes and winter clothes in the storage space 31).

In addition, in this embodiment, a pull-out operation stopper (projection 62) is provided that stops the displacement (slide) of the storage member 2 when the first storage space 311 protrudes outward from the support member 5 (support space 51) when the pull-out operation is performed in the first usage mode, and when the second storage space 312 protrudes outward from the support member 5 (support space 51) when the pull-out operation is performed in the second usage mode. In both the first and second usage modes, the displacement of the storage member 2 stops with a part of the storage space 31 (unused space, i.e., the second storage space 312 in the first usage mode and the first storage space 311 in the second usage mode) remaining inside the support member 5 (support space 51) (the entire storage space 31 does not protrude outward), making it easy to use.

The above-mentioned pull-out operation stopper (protrusion 62) stops the displacement (sliding) of the storage member 2 based on the boundary between the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312, and therefore can be provided on the partition member that separates the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312, as in this embodiment.

In addition, in this embodiment, in both the first and second usage modes, a push-in operation stopper (front panel portion 41) is provided that stops the displacement (sliding) of storage member 2 when storage space 31 is fitted inside support member 5 (support space 51) when the storage member 2 is pushed in, making it easy to use.

It is preferable that the push-in operation stopper (front plate portion 41) be capable of being attached in a different position (removable) depending on the mode of use.

Below, we will explain modified examples (examples of modifications, improvements, specific implementations, etc.) of the storage device 1. Note that, to the extent possible, the configuration may apply multiple combinations of the items described using each of the modified examples below.

Variation 1
The partition member 6 may be fixed to the storage member 2 (main body member 3) and its position may not be changed. In other words, the location where the storage space 31 is divided into the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312 may not be changed. For example, the partition member 6 may be fixed to a location that divides the storage space 31 into approximately two.

However, as in the above embodiment, if the mounting position of the partition member 6 can be changed, the user can change the size of the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312 depending on the contents of the stored items, etc., which makes it easy to use.

Variation 2
The pull-out operation stopper can be provided at a location other than the partition member 6, so long as it is displaced by the pull-out operation of the storage member 2. For example, a pull-out operation stopper protruding upward from the upper end edge of the main body member 3 is provided. As in the above embodiment, the portion that becomes the pull-out operation stopper is made of a flexible material (soft resin). In addition, a contact portion 55 is provided on the support member 5 at a position that comes into contact with the pull-out operation stopper.

However, as in the above embodiment, by configuring the partition member 6 with a pull-out operation stopper (protrusion 62), there is an advantage in that a structure is inevitably constructed in which the displacement (slide) of the storage member 2 is stopped based on the boundary between the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312 (the displacement (slide) of the storage member 2 is stopped when one of the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312 goes outside the support member 5 (support space 51) and the other remains inside).

Variation 3
A configuration may be adopted in which the partition member 6 is not provided. That is, a configuration may be adopted in which the storage space 31 is not divided into the first storage space 311 and the second storage space 312 as in the above embodiment. Even if the partition member 6 is not provided, if a pull-out operation stopper as described in the above modified example 2 is provided, the displacement (slide) of the storage member 2 is stopped in a state in which a part of one end side of the storage space 31 protrudes outward from the support member 5 (support space 51) when the pull-out operation is performed in the first usage mode, and the displacement (slide) of the storage member 2 is stopped in a state in which a part of the other end side of the storage space 31 protrudes outward from the support member 5 (support space 51) when the pull-out operation is performed in the second usage mode.

Variation 4
The pull-out operation stopper (protrusion 62) may be formed of a hard material (e.g., hard resin). The pull-out operation stopper (protrusion 62) is formed of a soft material (soft resin) as in the above embodiment so that it can be inserted into the support space 51 of the storage member 2 (main body member 3) (so that the pull-out operation stopper (protrusion 62) can bend and deform to overcome the contact portion 55). However, as long as the storage member 2 (main body member 3) can be inserted into the support space 51, the pull-out operation stopper (protrusion 62) may be formed of a hard material.

8, the support member 5 is divided (divided into a first support member 5a and a second support member 5b), and the storage device 1 can be assembled by sandwiching the storage member 2 (main body member 3) between the first support member 5a and the second support member 5b. In this way, the pull-out operation stopper (protrusion 62) can be made of a hard material, since it is not necessary to insert the storage member 2 (main body member 3) into the support space 51 by flexibly deforming the pull-out operation stopper. If the protrusion 62 is provided on the partition member 6 as in the above embodiment, the partition member 61 and the protrusion 62 may be integrally formed from the same hard material (hard resin).

In this example, when the storage member 2 is pulled out, the pull-out operation stopper (protrusion 62) made of a hard material is less likely to overcome the contact portion 55 (see FIG. 9). In other words, the risk that the pull-out operation stopper (protrusion 62) will overcome the contact portion 55 and the storage member 2 will become significantly detached from the support member 5 during the pull-out operation is reduced.

Variation 5
The form of the push-in operation stopper is not limited to that in the above embodiment, but may be any structure that makes it impossible to push the housing space 31 (main body member 3) further in by contacting the support member 5 when the housing space 31 (main body member 3) is inserted into the support space 51.

For example, as shown in FIG. 10, it is possible to configure the member that functions as the push-in operation stopper to be divided (split into a first accessory member 4a and a second accessory member 4b). In the first usage mode, the first configuration is configured in which the accessory members (first accessory member 4a and second accessory member 4b) are fixed to both sides in the width direction at one end of the main body member 3. In the second usage mode, the second configuration is configured in which the accessory members (first accessory member 4a and second accessory member 4b) are fixed to both sides in the width direction at the other end of the main body member 3. In both the first and second usage modes, the first accessory member 4a and the second accessory member 4b come into contact with the support member 5, preventing further pushing.

However, as in the above embodiment, by making one accessory member 4 (front panel portion 41) function as a push-in operation stopper, the number of parts is reduced (fewer parts than in the configuration of this example), and there are fewer divisions (connections between parts) in the appearance (fewer divisions than in the configuration of this example), resulting in superior design.

Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications are possible without departing from the gist of the present invention.
