(1)実施例1で作製した飲食品組成物を、5人の被験者(男性5人)に、一日12g(一包4gを、一日3回、100~180mLの水またはお湯に溶かした。)、4週間、飲用させた。一週間毎に自身の肌状態について、VAS(Visual Analogue Scale)によるアンケートを実施した。表1に、アンケート項目と結果を示す。なお、表1の数値は、0に近いほど不調、10に近いほど良好な肌状態を表す

図1から明らかなように、実施例1で作製した飲食品組成物を経口摂取することで、角層の水分量が著しく向上した。一般的に、皮膚に直接塗布する保湿化粧料を用いた場合は、短期間で肌の水分量が向上するが、経口摂取では肌の水分量の迅速な改善は難しいと考えられていた。一方、本発明の飲食品組成物は、経口摂取により、僅か2週間で角層水分量が20%向上するという顕著な効果を示すことを確認した。また、図2から明らかなように、実施例1で作製した飲食品組成物を経口摂取することで、肌のキメが細かくなり、各層の重層剥離が改善された。 As is clear from Figure 1, oral intake of the food and beverage composition prepared in Example 1 significantly improved the moisture content of the stratum corneum. 被験者を、便秘実感のある4人の健常成人(男性1名、女性3名)に代えた以外は、実施例2と同様に飲食品組成物を飲用させた。図3は、飲用開始前から4週間後までの、1週間当たりの排便回数を示すグラフである。図3から明らかなように、本発明の飲食品組成物を経口摂取することで、経口摂取1週間目で排便回数が著しく向上した。したがって、本発明の飲食品組成物は、便秘改善の用途に使用できることを確認した。

表2に官能試験の結果を示す。表2から明らかなように、オリゴ糖として1-ケストースを用いた場合には、桑葉の青臭さを低減できることを確認した。また、作製した飲食品組成物の甘味度は同じであるが、1ケストースを添加することで、被験者は経口摂取した際に甘く感じることを確認した。 The results of the sensory test are shown in Table 2. 被験者を健常成人(女性21名、年齢(歳)42.9±5.5)に代え、飲用期間を8週間に伸ばした以外は、実施例5と同様に飲食品組成物を飲用させた。図5は、飲用開始前の2週間、飲用中の8週間、飲用終了後の4週間の、それぞれ、1週間当たりの排便回数を示すグラフである。図5から明らかなように、本発明の飲食品組成物を経口摂取することで、実施例3および4の結果と同様、排便回数が著しく向上した。また、飲用終了後も、飲用前と比較して、排便回数が多い状態を維持した。したがって、本発明の飲食品組成物は、飲用中の便秘改善効果に加え、飲用終了後も便秘改善効果を持続できることを確認した。
Example 6

上記<実施例6>の実験中において、飲用前(飲用開始日と同日)と8週間の飲用終了直後(飲用終了日と同日または翌日)に、被験者の皮膚の弾力性を測定した。測定機械には、Cutometer CT580(Courage+Khazaka社製)を用いた。図6は測定結果を示すグラフで、縦軸は皮膚弾力性(戻り率)を示す。皮膚弾力性の数値が高いほど、皮膚の弾力性が高いと評価できる。なお、飲用前と8週間の飲用終了後の測定結果をt検定で統計解析を行ったところ、P<0.05であり、統計学的に有意であることを確認した。
