Description
Claims (10)
- 第1バッテリモジュールをモニタリングした結果を外部装置に出力する通信回路と、
第1状態で第1パターンを有し、第2状態で前記第1パターンと相違する第2パターンを有する第1ステータス信号を生成する信号生成回路と、
前記第1ステータス信号を第2スレーブBMSに出力する出力端子と、
第3スレーブBMSから第3ステータス信号を受信する入力端子と、
前記第3ステータス信号のパターンに基づいて前記第3スレーブBMSの状態を診断する診断回路とを含み、
前記通信回路は、前記第3スレーブBMSの前記状態を前記外部装置に出力する、第1スレーブBMS。 - 前記第1状態は、前記第1スレーブBMSが正常に動作する状態であり、
前記第2状態は、前記第1スレーブBMSが正常に動作しない状態である、請求項1に記載の第1スレーブBMS。 - 前記第1ステータス信号は矩形波信号であり、
前記第1パターンを有する前記第1ステータス信号と前記第2パターンを有する前記第1ステータス信号は、周期、デューティー比、振幅のうち少なくとも一つが相違する信号である、請求項2に記載の第1スレーブBMS。 - 前記通信回路は、前記外部装置と連結されるCANバスを介して前記結果を出力し、
前記出力端子は、前記第2スレーブBMSのGPIO(General-Purpose Input/Output)端子と連結されるGPIOの端子を介して前記第1ステータス信号を出力する、請求項1に記載の第1スレーブBMS。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の第1スレーブBMSと、
第1バッテリモジュールとを含むバッテリパック。 - 前記第1スレーブBMSは、前記第1バッテリモジュールをモニタリングした結果を第1通信リンクを介して外部装置に出力し、前記第1ステータス信号を第2通信リンクを介して前記第2スレーブBMSに出力する、請求項5に記載のバッテリパック。
- 前記第2スレーブBMSは、前記第2通信リンクを介して受信する前記第1ステータス信号に基づいて、前記第1スレーブBMSが正常動作しないと診断される場合、前記外部装置に第3通信リンクを介して通知信号を出力する、請求項6に記載のバッテリパック。
- 前記外部装置は、前記第1スレーブBMSおよび前記第2スレーブBMSを制御するマスターBMSであり、
前記第1通信リンクは、前記マスターBMSと前記第1スレーブBMSとの間のCANバスにより生成され、
前記第2通信リンクは、前記第1スレーブBMSのGPIO(General-Purpose Input/Output)の端子と前記第2スレーブBMSのGPIOの端子が連結されることで生成され、
前記第3通信リンクは、前記マスターBMSと前記第2スレーブBMSとの間のCANバスにより生成される、請求項7に記載のバッテリパック。 - 第1スレーブBMSおよび第2スレーブBMSと通信するための通信回路と、
前記第1スレーブBMSとの通信中にエラーが発生した場合、第2スレーブBMSから受信した通知信号に基づいて、前記エラーの原因が前記第1スレーブBMSの内部の問題であるか、前記通信回路と前記第1スレーブBMSとの通信上の問題であるかを判断するコントローラとを含むマスターBMSであって、
前記通信回路は、前記第1スレーブBMSから前記第1スレーブBMSがモニタリングする第1バッテリモジュールの状態に関する情報を受信し、前記第2スレーブBMSから前記第1スレーブBMSの状態を示す前記通知信号を受信する
マスターBMS。 - 前記第2スレーブBMSから前記第2スレーブBMSの状態に応じて相違するパターンを有するステータス信号を受信する入力端子をさらに含み、
前記通信回路は、前記第2スレーブBMSから前記第2スレーブBMSがモニタリングする第2バッテリモジュールの状態に関する情報を受信し、
前記コントローラは、前記受信した情報にエラーがある場合、前記ステータス信号のパターンに基づいて、前記エラーが前記第2スレーブBMSの内部の問題であるか、前記通信回路と前記第1スレーブBMSとの通信上の問題であるかを判断し、
前記ステータス信号の前記パターンは、前記ステータス信号の周期、デューティー比、振幅のうち少なくとも一つと関連する、請求項9に記載のマスターBMS。
