Claims (7)
- モナザイトもしくはバストネサイトを担持する鉱石または選鉱、および、酸化物、リン酸塩、炭酸塩、または硫酸塩として不定量の希土類元素を含有する工業的廃棄物からなる原料から、希土類を抽出するおよびトリウムを除去する方法であって、
(i)所望により、硫黄回収のためのガス硫酸化と、
(ii)硫酸と希土類を含有する前記原料との制御された混合であって、前記制御された混合段階中の温度が室温から80℃との間にあり、前記混合時間が5〜240分であり、添加される前記硫酸の量が、希土類元素、アルカリ、およびアルカリ土類金属の量に比例しかつ5〜10%過剰である混合と、
(iii)制御された条件下での水溶出であって、前記水溶出の温度が15℃と70℃との間にあり、かつ、pHが1.5と4.0との間に制御された水溶出と、
(iv)鉄、アルミニウムまたはトリウムの除去が必要である場合には、前記制御された混合段階を脱した前記原料を、温度650℃と750℃との間の温度で、加熱炉中の熱分解段階に通す工程と、
を含んでなる方法。 - 前記混合の時間が5〜45分である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水溶出の温度が20℃と50℃との間にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水溶出のpHが1.5と2.0との間に制御されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記加熱炉中の熱分解温度が、680℃と720℃との間の温度である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記熱分解段階を脱したSO3含有ガスを捕獲し、硫酸プラントに転送して、硫酸にさらに転換する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記熱分解段階を脱した前記SO3含有ガスを捕獲して、前記制御された混合段階に先立って、希土類を含有する流入給鉱原料と接触させる、請求項1に記載の方法。
