Description
・接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して10〜90重量%の非晶質熱可塑性樹脂であって、ポリ乳酸と相溶性である非晶質熱可塑性樹脂と、
・接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して10〜90重量%の、ポリ−L−乳酸(PLLAU)及びポリ−D−乳酸(PDLAU)から選択されるポリ乳酸ポリマー単位(PLAU)であって、0.75kg/mol以上の数平均分子量を有するポリ乳酸ポリマー単位(PLAU)と、
・第1のPLAUの重量に基づいて計算して0.5〜20重量%の、ポリ−L−乳酸(PLLAU)及びポリ−D−乳酸(PDLAU)から選択される第2のポリ乳酸ポリマー単位(PLAU)であって、0.75kg/mol以上の数平均分子量を有する第2のポリ乳酸ポリマー単位(PLAU)と
を含み、第1のPLAUがPLLAUであるときは第2のPLAUはPDLAUであり、第1のPLAUがPDLAUであるときは第2のPLAUはPLLAUである、非反応性ホットメルト接着剤を提供する。
式中、Miは鎖の分子量であり、Niはその分子量の鎖の数である。Mnは重合メカニズムによって予測することができ、所定の重量の試料中の分子の数を決定する方法、例えば末端基定量法のような束一的方法によって測定される。分子量分布に関してMnに言及する場合、その分布においてMnの両側に同数の分子が存在する。本明細書において、Mnは、クロロホルムを溶媒及び移動相として使用し、ポリスチレンを標準として用いる相対的ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー(GPC)によって決定される。検出は屈折率による。
配合物を以下の出発材料から製造した。
本発明のさらなる実施形態を例示するため、複数の熱可塑性樹脂に基づいて組成物を調製した。各種樹脂の組成及び分子量(Mn)を表2に示す。すべての樹脂は非晶質コポリマーであった。表2において、重量百分率は合成前のモノマー量に基づいて計算される。エステル化/重合反応中の水分除去のため、重量百分率の合計は100%を超える。
Claims (29)
- 非反応性ホットメルト接着剤であって、
・接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して10〜90重量%の非晶質熱可塑性樹脂であって、ポリ乳酸と相溶性である非晶質熱可塑性樹脂と、
・接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して10〜90重量%の、ポリ−L−乳酸(PLLAU)及びポリ−D−乳酸(PDLAU)から選択されるポリ乳酸ポリマー単位(PLAU)であって、0.75kg/mol以上の数平均分子量を有するポリ乳酸ポリマー単位(PLAU)と、
・第1のPLAUの重量に基づいて計算して0.5〜20重量%の、ポリ−L−乳酸(PLLAU)及びポリ−D−乳酸(PDLAU)から選択される第2のポリ乳酸ポリマー単位(PLAU)であって、0.75kg/mol以上の数平均分子量を有する第2のポリ乳酸ポリマー単位(PLAU)と
を含み、第1のPLAUがPLLAUであるときは第2のPLAUはPDLAUであり、第1のPLAUがPDLAUであるときは第2のPLAUはPLLAUである、非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。 - 第1のPLAUの重量に基づいて計算して1〜10重量%の第2のポリ乳酸ポリマー単位(PLAU)を含む、請求項1に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 第1のPLAUがPLLAUであり、第2のPLAUがPDLAUである、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 第1のPLAU及び/又は第2のPLAUが、0.75〜10kg/molの範囲内の数平均分子量を有する、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 第1のPLAU及び/又は第2のPLAUが、1.5〜7.5kg/molの範囲内の数平均分子量を有する、請求項4に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 非晶質熱可塑性樹脂が、10〜100kg/molの範囲内の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 非晶質熱可塑性樹脂が、10〜50kg/molの範囲内の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項6に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 非晶質熱可塑性樹脂が、10〜30kg/molの範囲内の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項6に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して20〜80重量%の非晶質熱可塑性樹脂と、接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して20〜80重量%の第1及び第2のPLA単位の合計とを含む、請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して30〜70重量%の非晶質熱可塑性樹脂と、接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して30〜70重量%の第1及び第2のPLA単位の合計とを含む、請求項9に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して40〜60重量%の非晶質熱可塑性樹脂と、接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して40〜60重量%の第1及び第2のPLA単位の合計とを含む、請求項9に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 非晶質熱可塑性樹脂が、乳酸及び別の反応性モノマーのランダムコポリマーである、請求項1乃至請求項11のいずれか1項に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 乳酸及び別の反応性モノマーのランダムコポリマーが、10〜90重量%の乳酸モノマーと90〜10重量%の別の反応性モノマーとを含む、請求項12に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 乳酸及び別の反応性モノマーのランダムコポリマーが、20重量%以上の乳酸モノマーを含む、請求項13に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 乳酸及び別の反応性モノマーのランダムコポリマーが、40重量%以上の乳酸モノマーを含む、請求項13に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 乳酸及び別の反応性モノマーのランダムコポリマーが、50重量%以上の乳酸モノマーを含む、請求項13に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 乳酸及び別の反応性モノマーのランダムコポリマーが、80重量%以下の乳酸モノマーを含む、請求項13に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 別の反応性モノマーがカプロラクトンを含む、請求項12乃至請求項17のいずれか1項に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 乳酸モノマーとカプロラクトンとのコポリマーが、10〜50kg/molの範囲内の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項18に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 乳酸モノマーとカプロラクトンとのコポリマーが、10〜40kg/molの範囲内の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項18又は請求項19に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 非反応性ホットメルト接着剤が、接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して40〜60重量%の非晶質熱可塑性樹脂と、接着剤の重量に基づいて計算して40〜60重量%の第1及び第2のPLA単位とを含む、請求項18乃至請求項20のいずれか1項に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 熱可塑性樹脂とポリ乳酸ポリマー単位とが合計して、接着剤の50重量%以上をなす、請求項1乃至請求項21のいずれか1項に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 熱可塑性樹脂とポリ乳酸ポリマー単位とが合計して、接着剤の60重量%以上をなす、請求項22に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 熱可塑性樹脂とポリ乳酸ポリマー単位とが合計して、接着剤の70重量%以上をなす、請求項22に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 熱可塑性樹脂とポリ乳酸ポリマー単位とが合計して、接着剤の80重量%以上をなす、請求項22に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤。
- 請求項1乃至請求項25のいずれか1項に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤の製造方法であって、非晶質熱可塑性樹脂と、第1のPLAUと、第2のPLAUとを一緒にし及び混合して液体組成物を形成する工程を含む方法。
- 第1の工程で熱可塑性樹脂を第1又は第2のPLAUの一方と一緒にして液体混合物を得て、第2の工程で第1又は第2のPLAUの他方を加えて均質混合物を形成する、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 第1の工程で熱可塑性樹脂を第1又は第2のPLAUの一方と一緒にして液体混合物を得て、第2の工程で第1又は第2のPLAUの他方を液相で加えて均質混合物を形成する、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 複数の基材を互いに固定された位置に配置するための方法であって、請求項1乃至請求項25のいずれか1項に記載の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤の所定量を液体の形態で第1の基材の表面に施与する工程と、前記所定量の非反応性ホットメルト接着剤に第2の基材の表面を適用する工程と、複数の基材と非反応性ホットメルト接着剤とのアセンブリを非反応性ホットメルト接着剤の融点未満の温度に冷却する工程とを含む方法。
