Description
本出願は、2015年2月12日付韓国特許出願第10-2015-0021784号及び2015年12月10日付韓国特許出願第10-2015-0176277号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されている全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
技術分野
本発明は、低い溶媒の使用量にも高い線形アルファ-オレフィン選択度及びC2転換率を維持することができるオレフィンオリゴマー化方法に関する。
i)連続撹拌タンク反応器(CSTR)にオレフィン単量体と溶媒を共に投入する段階;
ii)前記連続撹拌タンク反応器にリガンド化合物、遷移金属化合物及び助触媒を含むオリゴマー化触媒系を投入する段階;及び
iii)オレフィンを多量化反応させる段階
を含むオレフィンオリゴマー化方法であって、
前記オレフィン単量体と溶媒の流量比は1:1から2:1である、オレフィンオリゴマー化方法を提供する。
本発明に係るオレフィンオリゴマー化方法は、i)連続撹拌タンク反応器(CSTR)にオレフィン単量体と溶媒を共に投入する段階;ii)前記連続撹拌タンク反応器にリガンド化合物、遷移金属化合物及び助触媒を含むオリゴマー化触媒系を投入する段階;及びiii)オレフィンを多量化反応させる段階を含み、このとき、前記オレフィン単量体と溶媒の流量比は1:1から2:1である。
前記オリゴマー化触媒系が含む前記リガンド化合物は、下記化学式(1)で表されるジホスフィンモイアティー(moiety)を含むことができる。
このような選択的なオレフィンオリゴマー化反応は、用いる触媒システムと密接な係わりがある。オレフィンオリゴマー化反応の際に用いられる触媒系は、主触媒の役割を担う遷移金属化合物と助触媒を含むところ、このとき、リガンドの化学構造に応じて活性触媒の構造を変化させることができ、これに伴うオレフィン選択度や、活性または副産物の生成量などが別に表れ得る。
前記助触媒は、13族金属を含む有機金属化合物であって、一般に遷移金属化合物触媒の下でオレフィンを多量化するときに用いられ得るものであれば特に限定されるものではない。 具体的に、前記助触媒は、下記化学式(4)から(6)で表される化合物からなる群より選択される1種以上のものを用いることができる。

前記化学式(6)で、
Lは中性ルイス塩基であり、[L-H]+はブレンステッド酸で、Qは+3形式酸化状態のボロンまたはアルミニウムであり、Eは、それぞれ独立して1以上の水素原子がハロゲン、炭素数1から20のヒドロカルビル、アルコキシ作用基またはフェノキシ作用基で置換または非置換された炭素数6から20のアリール基または炭素数1から20のアルキル基である。
前記オリゴマー化触媒系の製造方法をこれによって特に制限するものではないが、非制限的な例として、前記オリゴマー化触媒系の製造方法は、前述したリガンド化合物及び遷移金属化合物を混合して触媒組成物を製造する段階;及び助触媒と前記触媒組成物が温度-40から80℃で混合されて活性化される段階を含むことができる。
全ての反応は、シュレンクテクニック(Schlenk technique)やグローブボックス(glove box)を用いてアルゴン下で進められた。合成されたリガンドは、Varian 500MHz spectrometerを利用して1H(500MHz)と31P(202MHz)NMR spectraを撮って分析した。Shiftは、residual solvent peakをreferenceとし、TMSからdownfieldでppmで表した。Phosphorous probeは、aqueous H3PO4でcalibrationした。
アルゴン下で、3-(アミノメチル)-3,5,5-トリメチルシクロヘキサンアミン(3-(aminomethyl)-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexanamine)(5mmol)とトリエチルアミン(3〜10 equiv. to amine)をジクロロメタン(80mL)に溶かした。フラスコを水槽に浸漬した状態で、クロロジトリルホスフィン(chloroditolylphosphine)(20mmol, 2 equiv. to amine)を徐々に入れて、一晩中撹拌した。真空を取って溶媒を揮発させた後、THFを入れて十分撹拌し、air-free glass filterで塩化トリエチルアンモニウム塩(triethylammonium chloride salt)を除去した。濾過液から溶媒を除去して製品を得た。
実施例1
アルゴンガス下で前記製造例によって製造されたリガンド化合物とCr(acac)3(17.5mg、0.014mmol)を、リガンド:クロムが0.55:1のモル比になるようにフラスコに入れて100mlのメチルシクロヘキサン(MCH)を添加し、撹拌して0.5mM(Cr基準)溶液を製造した。
前記実施例1の段階2で、メチルシクロヘキサンとエチレンの流量、及び触媒溶液及び助触媒の投入速度を下記表1のように異にしたことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法でアルファ-オレフィンオリゴマーを製造した。
前記表1に示す通り、本発明のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法の一例による実施例等は非常に高い多量化反応活性を表したことを確認することができる。
前記実施例1から6の結果を下記表2にそれぞれ示した。
Claims (10)
- i)連続撹拌タンク反応器(CSTR)にオレフィン単量体と溶媒を共に投入する段階;
ii)前記連続撹拌タンク反応器にリガンド化合物、遷移金属化合物及び助触媒を含むオリゴマー化触媒系を投入する段階;及び
iii)オレフィン単量体を多量化反応させる段階
を含むオレフィンオリゴマー化方法であって、
前記オレフィン単量体と溶媒の流量比は1:1から2:1であり、
前記リガンド化合物は、下記化学式(2)で表されるジホスフィンモイアティーを2以上含み、
前記2以上のジホスフィンモイアティーの間を連結する連結基は、ヒドロカルビル基としてジホスフィンモイアティー間の最短距離の炭素数が2から30個であるオレフィンオリゴマー化方法:
- 前記連続撹拌タンク反応器でのオレフィンの多量化反応は、30barから150barの圧力下で行われる、請求項1に記載のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法。
- 前記連続撹拌タンク反応器でのオレフィンの多量化反応は、30℃から150℃の温度条件で行われる、請求項1に記載のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法。
- 前記段階ii)で投入されるオリゴマー化触媒系の前記リガンド化合物の濃度は3μMから15μMである、請求項1に記載のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法。
- 前記段階ii)で投入されるオリゴマー化触媒系の助触媒は、前記遷移金属化合物が含む遷移金属の当量に対して300当量から3,000当量である、請求項1に記載のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法。
- 前記段階iii)を介してオリゴマー化された生成物と溶媒が生成物/溶媒(w/w)>1.0以上を満たす請求項1に記載のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法。

助触媒と前記触媒組成物が温度-40℃から80℃で混合して活性化される段階を含む方法によって製造される請求項1に記載のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法。 - 前記遷移金属化合物は有機クロム化合物を含み、前記有機クロム化合物は、クロム(III)アセチルアセトネート、三塩化クロムトリステトラヒドロフラン、クロム(III)-2-エチルヘキサノエート、クロム(III)トリス(2,2,6,6-テトラメチル-3,5-ヘプテインジオネート)、クロム(III)ベンゾイルアセトネート、クロム(III)ヘキサフルオロ-2,4-ペンテインジオネート及びクロム(III)アセテートヒドロキシドからなる群より選択される1種以上である請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法。
- 前記助触媒は、下記化学式(4)から(6)で表される化合物からなる群より選択される1種以上である請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法:

Lは中性ルイス塩基であり、[L-H]+はブレンステッド酸で、Qは+3形式酸化状態のボロンまたはアルミニウムであり、Eは、それぞれ独立して1以上の水素原子がハロゲン、炭素数1から20のヒドロカルビル、アルコキシ作用基またはフェノキシ作用基で置換または非置換された炭素数6から20のアリール基または炭素数1から20のアルキル基である。 - 前記オレフィン単量体はエチレンを含む請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載のオレフィンオリゴマー化方法。
