Abstract
Description
高SP値又は高軟化点の樹脂をリン酸エステル等の可塑剤中に溶融完全分散させた粘性液体(溶融混合物)を予め作製し、これをゴム成分等と共に混練すると、混練中に樹脂がポリマーやフィラーに分子単位で絡み付くことで、自己凝集が抑制される。従って、分散し難い固体樹脂等の樹脂でも、ゴム中に高分散するため、常温の硬度Hsを低くでき、また、ゴム表面にブリードする樹脂量が安定化する結果、走行中期や後期だけでなく、走行初期においても、路面追従性に優れ、良好なグリップ性能が得られる。同時に、樹脂の高分散により耐摩耗性も改善されるため、本発明では、走行初期、中期、後期にわたるグリップ性能、耐摩耗性がバランス良く改善される。
なお、本明細書において、スチレン含量は、1H−NMR測定により算出される。
なお、本明細書において、ビニル含量(1,2−結合ブタジエン単位量)は、赤外吸収スペクトル分析法によって測定できる。
なお、本明細書において、ガラス転移温度は、JIS K7121に従い、昇温速度10℃/分の条件で示差走査熱量測定(DSC)を行って測定される値である。
なお、本明細書において、重量平均分子量は、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)(東ソー(株)製GPC−8000シリーズ、検出器:示差屈折計、カラム:東ソー(株)製のTSKGEL SUPERMALTPORE HZ−M)による測定値を基に標準ポリスチレン換算により求めることができる。
なお、本明細書において、BRのビニル含量(1,2−結合ブタジエン単位量)及びシス含量(シス1,4結合含有率)は、赤外吸収スペクトル分析法によって測定できる。
なお、本発明において、SP値は、ハンセン(Hansen)の数式を用いて算出される溶解度パラメータを意味する。
なお、本発明において、軟化点は、JIS K 6220−1:2001に規定される軟化点を環球式軟化点測定装置で測定し、球が降下した温度である。
ポリテルペンは、テルペン化合物を重合して得られる樹脂及びそれらの水素添加物である。テルペン化合物は、(C5H8)nの組成で表される炭化水素及びその含酸素誘導体で、モノテルペン(C10H16)、セスキテルペン(C15H24)、ジテルペン(C20H32)などに分類されるテルペンを基本骨格とする化合物であり、例えば、α−ピネン、β−ピネン、ジペンテン、リモネン、ミルセン、アロオシメン、オシメン、α−フェランドレン、α−テルピネン、γ−テルピネン、テルピノレン、1,8−シネオール、1,4−シネオール、α−テルピネオール、β−テルピネオール、γ−テルピネオールなどが挙げられる。
なお、本発明において、凝固点は、下記方法で測定される値である。
試料をアルミニウムセルの中に密閉し、当該アルミニウムセルを示差走査熱量測定器((株)島津製作所製、DSC−60A)のサンプルホルダーに挿入した後、当該サンプルホルダーを窒素雰囲気下10℃/分で150℃まで加熱しながら吸熱ピークを観察し、得られた吸熱ピークを凝固点とした。
なお、本発明における「可塑剤」は、前述のクマロンインデン樹脂、αメチルスチレン系樹脂、テルペン系樹脂、p−t−ブチルフェノールアセチレン樹脂、アクリル系樹脂等を含む各種樹脂;ゴムの油展オイル、プロセスオイル等の各種オイル;液状ジエン系重合体を含まない概念である。
なお、本発明において、上記可塑剤の引火点の測定方法は、JIS K 2265−4:2007に準拠したクリーブランド開放法によって測定した値である。
なお、上記固体樹脂、上記化合物、上記可塑剤は溶融混合物の他に別途配合してもよく、その場合、上記各含有量はゴム組成物中に含まれる総量を意味する。
なお、シリカのN2SAは、ASTM D3037−93に準じてBET法で測定される値である。
mM・xSiOy・zH2O
(式中、MはAl、Mg、Ti、Ca及びZrからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種の金属、該金属の酸化物又は水酸化物であり、mは1〜5の整数、xは0〜10の整数、yは2〜5の整数、zは0〜10の整数である。)
なお、無機フィラーのN2SAは、ASTM D3037−81に準じてBET法で測定される値である。
なお、無機フィラーの平均粒子径は、数平均粒子径であり、透過型電子顕微鏡により測定される。
液状ジエン系重合体は、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)で測定したポリスチレン換算の重量平均分子量(Mw)が、1.0×103〜2.0×105であることが好ましく、3.0×103〜1.5×104であることがより好ましい。1.0×103未満では、グリップ性能の向上効果がなく、充分な耐久性が確保できないおそれがある。一方、2.0×105を超えると、重合溶液の粘度が高くなり過ぎ生産性が悪化したり、破壊特性が低下したりするおそれがある。
なお、本明細書において、液状ジエン系重合体のMwは、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)で測定したポリスチレン換算値である。
すなわち、上記成分を配合したゴム組成物を、未加硫の段階でタイヤのトレッド等の形状にあわせて押出し加工し、他のタイヤ部材とともに、タイヤ成型機上にて通常の方法で成形することにより、未加硫タイヤを形成する。この未加硫タイヤを加硫機中で加熱加圧することによりタイヤを得る。

<加硫剤>
5%オイル含有粉末硫黄:細井化学工業社製のHK−200−5
TBBS:大内新興化学工業社製のノクセラーNS‐G(N−tert−ブチル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミド)
ZTC:大内新興化学工業社製のノクセラーZTC(ジベンジルジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛)
窒素雰囲気下、250mlメスフラスコに3−(N,N−ジメチルアミノ)プロピルトリメトキシシラン(アヅマックス(株)製)を20.8g入れ、さらに無水ヘキサン(関東化学(株)製)を加え、全量を250mlにして作製した。
充分に窒素置換した30L耐圧容器にn−ヘキサンを18L、スチレン(関東化学(株)製)を800g、ブタジエンを1200g、テトラメチルエチレンジアミンを1.1mmol加え、40℃に昇温した。次に、1.6Mブチルリチウム(関東化学(株)製)を1.8mL加えた後、50℃に昇温させ3時間撹拌した。次に上記末端変性剤を4.1mL追加し30分間撹拌を行った。反応溶液にメタノール15mL及び2,6−tert−ブチル−p−クレゾール(大内新興化学工業(株)製)0.1gを添加後、TDAE1200g添加し10分間撹拌を行った。その後、スチームストリッピング処理によって重合体溶液から凝集体を回収した。得られた凝集体を24時間減圧乾燥させ、変性SBRを得た。
表1〜2に示す溶融混合物の配合、質量比に従い、シリコンオイルバスで、可塑剤を150〜200℃に加温し、液温を保持しつつ、スクリューで撹拌しながら、樹脂(固体樹脂)を逐次投入した(可塑剤100質量部に対し、1〜3質量部ずつ添加)。そして、樹脂を可塑剤中に撹拌溶解させることで、溶融混合物が得られた。
表1〜2に示す配合内容及び混練条件に従い、4Lバンバリーミキサーを用いて、まず、加硫剤以外の薬品全量を5分間、排出温度150℃にて混練りした。
次に、得られた混練り物に加硫剤を添加し、オープンロールを用いて、3分間練り込み、未加硫ゴム組成物を得た。この際、最高ゴム温度は100℃とした。
得られた未加硫ゴム組成物をトレッドの形状に成形し、タイヤ成型機上で他のタイヤ部材とともに貼り合わせ、170℃の条件下で12分間プレス加硫し、試験用タイヤ(タイヤサイズ:245/40R18)を得た。
上記試験用タイヤを排気量2000ccの国産FR車に装着し、ドライアスファルト路面のテストコースにて10周の実車走行を行った。その際に2周目おける操舵時のコントロールの安定性をテストドライバーが評価し、比較例1を100として指数表示をした(初期グリップ性能指数)。数値が大きいほど初期グリップ性能が高いことを示す。指数値が105以上の場合に良好であると判断した。
上記試験用タイヤを排気量2000ccの国産FR車に装着し、ドライアスファルト路面のテストコースにて10周の実車走行を行った。その際における、ベストラップと最終ラップの操舵時のコントロールの安定性をテストドライバーが比較評価し、比較例1を100として指数表示をした。数値が大きいほどドライ路面において、走行中期のグリップ性能の低下が小さく、走行中期の安定したグリップ性能が良好に得られることを示す。指数値が105以上の場合に良好であると判断した。
上記試験用タイヤを排気量2000ccの国産FR車に装着し、岡山国際サーキット、ロングラン500km走行を行った。走行は、乾燥路面、路面温度20〜30℃の条件で行った。
走行後にタイヤトレッドゴムの残溝量を計測し(新品時8.0mm)、耐摩耗性として評価した。主溝の平均残溝量が多いほど、耐摩耗性に優れる。比較例1の残溝量を100として指数表示した。指数が大きいほど、耐摩耗性に優れることを示す。
Claims (10)
- 固体樹脂(但し、セルロースエステルを除く)と可塑剤との溶融混合物、及びゴム成分(但し、下記式(1)で表される化合物で変性された変性ブタジエンゴムを除く)を混練りして混練り物を作製するベース練り工程、並びに、
前記混練り物及び硫黄を混練りする仕上げ練り工程を含むゴム組成物の製造方法であって、
前記固体樹脂は、SP値9.2〜13及び/又は軟化点130℃以上であり、
前記可塑剤は、リン酸エステル、フタル酸エステル、脂肪族多塩基酸エステル、トリメリット酸エステル、酢酸エステル及びリシノール酸エステルからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の化合物を含み、
前記ゴム組成物中、前記ゴム成分100質量部に対して、前記固体樹脂の含有量が1質量部以上であるゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記化合物のSP値が8.3〜9.5である請求項1記載のゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記固体樹脂がSP値9.2〜13のアクリル系樹脂である請求項1又は2記載のゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記化合物の凝固点が−50〜−10℃、前記可塑剤の引火点が200℃以上である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記可塑剤が脂肪族多塩基酸エステルを含む請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記脂肪族多塩基酸エステルがビス[2−(2−ブトキシエトキシ)エチル]アジペートである請求項5記載のゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記ゴム組成物がトレッド用ゴム組成物又は靴底用ゴム組成物である請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記ベース練り工程が、更に、窒素吸着比表面積140〜600m 2 /gのカーボンブラックを混練りして前記混練り物を作製するものである請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のゴム組成物の製造方法。
- 前記ベース練り工程が、更に、下記式で表される化合物、硫酸マグネシウム、及び炭化ケイ素からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の無機フィラーを混練りして前記混練り物を作製するものである請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のゴム組成物の製造方法。
