Description

The present invention relates to a shock-absorbing packaging material used to protect a packaged article when a substrate storage box or other packaged article containing a semiconductor wafer or the like is mainly housed and packaged in an outer box.

Semiconductor wafers used in integrated circuits are extremely delicate products that are problematic in maintaining quality due to impact and dirt caused by contact with other objects, and are also expensive. For safety, it is common to use a dedicated substrate storage box (hard case) made of plastics and having shape retention strength, and store and package the required number of wafers at regular intervals. Since such a substrate storage box has almost no buffer function, if it is transported as it is, the internal wafer may be damaged by an external impact. Therefore, cushioning packaging material made of synthetic resin foam can be used to store and wrap in a corrugated cardboard outer box while holding the upper and lower parts of the substrate storage box, to reduce the impact and protect the wafer. Has been done.

The shock-absorbing packaging material used for the packaging is composed of a pair of upper and lower packaging materials for fitting and holding the upper and lower parts of the package such as the substrate storage box, but the impact applied to the outer surface of the outer box In order to increase the effect of absorbing and mitigating, an angular cushioning protrusion that protrudes radially is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the upper and lower packaging materials, and this is supported by contacting the inner surface of the outer packaging box made of cardboard, The thing which acquired the effect of a buffer by the elastic deformation of this protrusion with respect to the external force with respect to the outer surface of an exterior box is proposed (for example, patent documents 1). In addition, it is also proposed to provide a projection that protrudes in the side surface extension direction at the corner of the rectangular main body so as to have a space between the outer box and the same projection provided on the outer surface. (Patent Document 2).

The present invention provides a buffer wrapping material configured so that the packaged object does not become unstable even when the buffer protrusion is elastically deformed by providing a buffer protrusion for supporting the packaged object on the inner side surface of the storage recess. is there.

The present invention that solves the above problems is a pair of upper and lower packaging materials each made of a synthetic resin foam, and an upper packaging material having a storage recess capable of inserting an upper portion of an object to be packaged on the lower surface side of a planar rectangular main body portion; A cushioning packaging material comprising a lower packaging material having a housing recess capable of inserting a lower portion of an article to be packaged on the upper surface side of a flat rectangular main body, and the top surface of the upper packaging material in the housing recess receives the top portion A convex portion for receiving the bottom portion is provided on the inner surface of the bottom portion of the storage recess of the lower packaging material, respectively, and the storage recess portions of the upper and lower packaging materials each have an opening larger than the upper and lower portions of the packaging object, A shock-absorbing protrusion that protrudes inward and supports an object to be packaged is provided on the inner surface of the four side walls surrounding the storage recess.

According to this cushioning packaging material, the upper and lower portions of the article to be packaged such as the substrate storage box are inserted into the respective storage recesses of the upper and lower packaging materials, and the top receiving convex portion and the bottom receiving portion in each storage recess. Since it is supported by the bumps and the buffer protrusions on the inner surface of the side wall, the impact force applied to the buffer packaging material from the outside of the outer box through the outer box can be absorbed and relaxed by the elasticity of the convex parts and the buffer protrusions. A good buffering effect comparable to that provided with a buffering protrusion is obtained.

In addition, the cushioning packaging material includes at least three buffer projections on the inner surface of each side wall of the upper and lower packaging materials at intervals in the circumferential direction of the sidewall. the buffer buffer protrusion of the intermediate part excluding the projections, characterized by being provided so as to contact the packaged articles when held a gap, the buffer protrusion of the end portions is compressed and deformed between the packaged articles And In particular, it is preferable that the buffer protrusions on both the upper and lower packaging materials are formed as described above.

Thereby , on the inner surface of the side wall having the buffer protrusion of the above configuration, the package is elastically supported by two buffer protrusions at both ends, and when the buffer protrusions at both ends are compressed and deformed, the intermediate portion The buffer projections abut on the article to be packaged, so that the article to be packaged is supported with the stronger elastic force by the three or more buffer projections. For this reason, it is possible to stably hold the packaged object while suppressing excessive deformation of the buffer protrusion. Further, for example, even when an oblique force is applied to the inner package object due to, for example, an oblique drop, and one of the buffer protrusions at both ends is greatly compressed and deformed, the intermediate buffer protrusion contacts the package object. As a result, the packaged item can be held without causing rattling.

Moreover, it is preferable that the buffer protrusions at the intermediate portion are formed thinner than the buffer protrusions at both ends. As a result, the buffer protrusion at the intermediate portion is easily elastically deformed, and the effect of reducing the impact and pressure applied to the package from the buffer protrusion at the intermediate portion is increased.

Further, in the cushioning packaging material, the outer surface of the main body is formed so as to contact the inner surface of the outer packaging box, the boundary between the top outer surface of the upper packaging material and the outer surface of each side wall, the bottom of the lower packaging material It is preferable that the boundary portion between each of the outer surface and each side wall outer surface is chamfered.

This allows the upper and lower packaging materials to support the external impact and pressure from the inside of the entire packaging material by allowing the outer surface of the main body part to contact the inner surface of the exterior box over almost the entire surface. Can be prevented. Moreover, when a crushing occurs due to a strong force acting on the ridges and corners of the outer box, the outer space corresponding to the chamfered portions can be held inside the ridges and corners of the outer box. When the box is crushed, the impact can be mitigated, and a strong force can be prevented from acting directly on the upper and lower packaging material made of the synthetic resin foam.

According to the above-described cushioning packaging material of the present invention, the cushioning packaging material is provided from the outside of the outer box by providing the cushioning protrusion and the convex part for supporting the package in the upper and lower packaging materials on the inner surface of the housing recess in the main body part. The impact force applied to the shock absorber can be absorbed and relaxed at the portion of the buffer protrusion, and a good buffer effect comparable to the case where the buffer protrusion is provided on the outside can be obtained.

In particular, by providing buffer projections on the inner side surface of the side wall at three or more positions at intervals in the circumferential direction, and providing buffer projections at the intermediate portion so as to contact when the buffer projections at both ends are compressed and deformed In addition to being able to exhibit a two-stage buffering effect against external impacts, the object to be packaged can be stably held, and the buffering protection effect can be further enhanced.

Furthermore, if the outer surface of the main body of the upper and lower packaging materials abuts almost entirely over the outer packaging box to support external impact and pressure from the inside of the entire upper and lower packaging materials, damage to the outer packaging will be caused. In particular, large dents and breaks do not occur even at the ridges and corners of the outer box. Therefore, it does not become unstable when stored or transported, and it does not become unstable when stacked, and the appearance is good, the product image may be deteriorated, and there is a risk of anxiety to the user. It will not be.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on examples shown in the drawings.

In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 7, the cushioning packaging material A of this embodiment is paired up and down formed from a synthetic resin foam having a buffering effect (for example, in-mold foam molding of foamable beads). It consists of an upper packaging material 1 and a lower packaging material 2.

These packaging materials can be made of any foamed resin molded body, but are preferably a foamed molded body of a thermoplastic resin. Thermoplastic resins include polystyrene resins, polyolefin resins (eg, polypropylene resins, polyethylene resins), polyester resins (eg, polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyethylene naphthalate), polycarbonate resins, polylactic acid resins, etc. Can be mentioned. Among these, it is preferable to use a composite resin containing polystyrene and polyethylene. The foaming ratio of the foam is preferably 3 to 50 times.

An object to be packaged by the buffer wrapping material A of the present invention is, for example, an appropriately rigid plastic-made substrate storage box B that holds and holds substrates such as semiconductor wafers in a parallel state at regular intervals. In general, it is composed of a lower box body b1 and an upper lid b2 that can be attached to the lower box body b1 and has, for example, a flat rectangular shape with rounded corners. In the figure, the upper side and the lower side are shown in a simplified manner. The cushioning packaging material A of the present invention comprising the upper packaging material 1 and the lower packaging material 2 is used for housing and packaging the substrate storage box B in a cardboard outer packaging box C, and has the following configuration. ing.

The upper wrapping material 1 is provided with a storage recess 12 that opens downward on the lower surface side of a main body portion 11 having a flat rectangular shape so that the upper portion of a substrate storage box B that is an object to be packaged can be inserted. Reference numeral 13 denotes a top portion of the storage recess 12, and a top receiving convex portion that abuts the top portion of the substrate storage box B inserted into the storage recess 12 on the inner surface (lower surface) 13 a of the top recess 13. 14 is provided in an arrangement corresponding to the bottom shape of the substrate storage box B.

The storage recess 12 is a recess having an opening that is larger than the substrate storage box B, which is a package, in the vertical and horizontal dimensions. The storage recess 12 protrudes inwardly on the inner surfaces of the four side walls 15 surrounding the storage recess 12. A buffer protrusion 16 for supporting the storage box B is provided, and the substrate storage box B can be supported with a gap between the side wall 15 and the substrate storage box B. That is, the storage recess 12 is formed so as to have a gap corresponding to the height of the buffer protrusion 16 between the inner surface of the side wall 15 and the substrate storage box B. As a result, the outer surface of the main body portion 11 does not have a protrusion, and the outer surface of the main body portion 11 composed of the top portion 13 and the side walls 15 is in contact with the inner surface of the exterior box C over substantially the entire surface.

In the case of the figure, the boundary between the outer surface (upper surface) of the top portion 13 of the upper packaging material 1 and the outer surfaces of the four side walls 15, that is, between the top outer surface and each side wall outer surface, and each side wall outer surface. Each of the boundary portions is chamfered, and a relatively small space having a triangular cross section corresponding to the chamfer can be held inside the ridges and corners of the outer box C. When a strong force is applied to the corner portion, the outer box C is first crushed so that the impact can be mitigated, and the strong force is not immediately applied to the upper packaging material 1. Reference numerals 11a and 11b denote chamfered portions of the intersections.

The lower wrapping material 2 basically has the same configuration as the upper wrapping material 1 corresponding to the upper and lower sides, and the substrate which is an object to be packaged on the upper surface side of the main body portion 21 having a flat square shape. A storage recess 22 opened upward is provided so that the lower part of the storage box B can be inserted. Reference numeral 23 denotes a bottom portion of the main body portion 21. On the inner surface (upper surface) 23 a of the bottom portion 23, a bottom receiving convex portion 24 that comes into contact with the bottom portion of the substrate storage box B inserted into the storage recess 22 is stored. It is provided in an arrangement suitable for receiving and supporting corresponding to the bottom shape of the box B.

The storage recess 22 has an opening that is larger in vertical and horizontal dimensions than the substrate storage box B, which is an object to be packaged, and the inner surface of each of the four side walls 25 surrounding the storage recess 22 protrudes inward to store the substrate. A buffer projection 26 for supporting the box B is provided, and the substrate storage box B can be supported with a gap between the side wall 25 and the substrate storage box B. That is, the storage recess 22 is formed so as to hold a gap corresponding to the height of the buffer projection 26 between the substrate storage box B and the inner surface of the side wall 25. Thus, the outer surface of the main body 21 does not have a protrusion, and the outer surface of the main body 21 composed of the bottom 23 and the side walls 25 is formed so as to abut the inner surface of the exterior box C over substantially the entire surface.

Also, in this lower packaging material 2, the chamfering is formed between the outer surface (lower surface) of the bottom 23 and the outer surfaces of the four side walls 25 (including the boundary portions between the outer surfaces of the side walls). The outer box C is crushed when a strong force is applied to the ridges and corners of the outer box C by holding a relatively small gap with a triangular cross section inside the ridges and corners of the outer box C. Thus, the impact is alleviated and a strong force is not immediately applied to the lower packaging material 2. Reference numerals 21a and 21b denote chamfered portions of the intersecting portions.

In the upper wrapping material 1 and the lower wrapping material 2, the number, position, shape, etc. of the buffer protrusions 16 and 26 on the inner surfaces of the respective side walls of the storage recesses 12 and 22 are determined depending on the type and form of the items to be packaged. Although it can set suitably according to the above-mentioned example , basically at least one buffering projection of upper and lower packaging materials 1 and 2 is provided in three or more places at intervals in the circumferential direction of the side wall as in the example described later. For example, in the illustrated embodiment used for packaging the substrate storage box B, it is arranged and formed as follows.

In at least one of the upper packaging material 1 and the lower packaging material 2, preferably both the upper and lower packaging materials 1 and 2, as shown in the figure, the buffer protrusions 16, 26 on the inner side surfaces of the side walls of the storage recesses 12, 22 are shown. Are arranged at three or more locations (three locations in the figure) at intervals in the circumferential direction of the side wall (the length direction of the side of the main body). Further, among the three or more buffer projections 26 of at least the lower packaging material 2 of the upper and lower packaging materials 1 and 2, the middle buffer projections 26b excluding the buffer projections 26a at both ends are normally stored in the substrate. A gap S2 is held between the box B and the buffer projections 26a at both ends are in contact with the substrate storage box B when compressively deformed.

The protrusion height, shape, thickness, and the like of the buffer protrusions 26 (26a, 26b) in the lower packaging material 2 are not necessarily the same, and can be appropriately set according to the outer peripheral shape of the package. For example, as shown in the figure, when the substrate storage box B as an article to be packaged has a shape having the recesses b1-1 and b1-2 at the center portions of the front, back, left, and right sides facing each other, the buffer protrusions at both ends 26a is in contact with the portion of the substrate storage box B other than the recesses b1-1 and b1-2, and the buffer projection 26b at the intermediate portion corresponds to the depth of the recesses b1-1 and b1-2. The protrusion height is set so as to hold the gap S2. In the case of the figure, the buffer protrusions 26b in the middle part of the inner surfaces of the left and right side walls are formed with inclined surfaces 26c corresponding to the inner surface shape of the recesses b1-2 of the substrate storage box B, and the gap S2. Is provided.

In the upper packaging material 1 as well, among the three or more buffering protrusions 16, the intermediate buffering protrusions 16 b excluding the buffering protrusions 16 a at both ends normally have a gap S <b> 1 with the substrate storage box B. It is preferable that the holding protrusions 16a at both ends are configured to come into contact with the substrate storage box B when they are compressed and deformed.

Also about the buffer protrusion 16 (16a, 16b) in this upper packaging material 1, protrusion height, a shape, thickness, etc. can be suitably set according to the outer periphery shape of a to-be-packaged object. For example, as shown in the figure, when the substrate storage box B has the inclined surface b2-1 at the center of the front and rear side surfaces in the upper part and the left and right side surfaces are the same surface, both end portions on the inner surfaces of the front and rear side walls The buffer projection 16a abuts against a portion other than the inclined surface b2-1 of the substrate storage box B, and the buffer projection 16b at the intermediate portion has an inclined surface 16c whose inner end surface corresponds to the inclined surface b2-1. It is provided so as to abut against the inclined surface b2-1 or to hold the gap S1. Further, the buffer protrusions 16a and 16b on the inner surfaces of the left and right side walls are provided so as to contact the side surface of the substrate storage box B with the same protruding height.

Even when the side surface of the substrate storage box B does not have an inclined surface, an inclined surface in which at least a part of the inner end surfaces of the buffer projections 16b, 26b of the intermediate portion is in contact with or close to the substrate storage box B It can be. In this case, when the buffer projections 16b and 26b in the middle part come into contact with the substrate storage box B as the buffer projections 16a and 26a at both ends are compressed and deformed, the contact area and the elastic force are gradually increased. Thus, it is possible to suppress an impact caused by the contact of the buffer protrusions 16b and 26b at the intermediate portion with respect to the substrate storage box B.

Further, the buffer protrusions 16b and 26b at the intermediate portion of the upper and lower packaging materials 1 and 2 are slightly thinner than the buffer protrusions 16a and 26a at both ends, and in particular, ½ the thickness of the buffer protrusions 26a at both ends. In the above range, it is preferable that the film is formed slightly thin. Thereby, it becomes easy to elastically deform and the effect of the impact suppression with respect to the said board | substrate storage box B becomes large.

In addition, the upper packaging material 1 and the lower packaging material 2 have a convex shape 14 for receiving the inner shape of the storage recesses 12 and 22, for receiving the top portion and for receiving the bottom portion, even if the outer shapes of the main body portions 11 and 21 are symmetrical. , 24 and the buffer protrusions 16 and 26 are not necessarily symmetrical and can be appropriately set according to the form of the package such as the board storage box B so that the package can be supported stably. Is set.

A packaging state using the buffer packaging material A of the above-described embodiment will be described.

As shown in the figure, when a dedicated substrate storage box B storing a substrate such as a wafer is stored and packaged in an outer box C, the lower packaging material 2 is used for the lower box body b2 of the substrate storage box B, which is an object to be packaged. Is inserted into the storage recess 22 and held in a fitted state. Usually, the lower packaging material 2 is set on the bottom c2 in the outer packaging box C, and the lower portion of the substrate storage box B is stored in the storage recess 22 of the lower packaging material 2 from above and held in a fitted state. To do. Thereafter, the upper packaging material 1 is placed on the upper portion of the substrate storage box B, and the upper portion of the substrate storage box B is held in a fitted state in the storage recess 12 of the upper packaging material 2. In this way, the flap which becomes the top part c1 of the exterior box C is closed and packaged.

In this packaging state, since the upper packaging material 1 and the lower packaging material 2 are in contact with the inner surface of the outer packaging box C over the entire outer surfaces of the main body portions 11 and 21, respectively, external impacts acting on these portions are applied. And the pressure can be supported from the inside by the entire upper and lower packaging materials 1 and 2, and the dent and breakage of the exterior box C can be prevented. In particular, a large space should be provided between the upper and lower packaging materials 1 and 2 of the cushion packaging material A and the exterior box C at the ridges and corners around the bottom c2 and the top c1 of the exterior box C. Therefore, there is no possibility that a large dent or breakage may occur at the ridges or corners of the outer box C. For this reason, in the packaged state, the sitting state does not become worse and the stacked state does not become unstable, and there is no fear of giving the user anxiety.

In addition, the lower portion of the substrate storage box B, which is an object to be packaged, is supported by the bottom receiving convex portion 24 provided inside the main body portion 21 of the lower packaging material 2 and the buffer protrusions 26 on the inner surface of the side wall. The outer packaging box C is supported from the outside of the outer packaging box C by being supported by the projections 14 for receiving the top part and the buffer projections 16 on the inner surface of the side wall, which are held on the inner side of the main body 11 of the upper packaging material 1. The shock force applied to the cushioning wrapping material A can be absorbed and relaxed by elastic deformation of the cushioning protrusions 16 and 26, and a good buffering effect comparable to that provided with the cushioning protrusions on the outside can be obtained.

Further, in the packaging state, as shown in the illustrated embodiment, at least one of the upper and lower packaging materials 1, 2, for example, the buffer protrusions 26 on the inner surfaces of the side walls of the lower packaging material 2 are spaced apart in the circumferential direction of the side wall. Provided at three or more locations, the buffer projections 26b in the middle part are provided so as to come into contact when the buffer projections 26a at both ends are compressed and deformed, thereby exhibiting a two-stage buffer effect against external pressure. In addition, the substrate storage box B can be held more stably, and the effect of buffer protection can be enhanced.

Further, the buffer projections 16 and 26 and the convex portions 14 and 24 for supporting the package in the upper and lower packaging materials 1 and 2 are provided on the inner surfaces of the housing concave portions 12 and 22 in the main body portions 11 and 21, so that the substrate storage box is provided. It is possible to cope with a slight change in the shape of a packaged item such as B without requiring a design change.

In addition, in the above-mentioned Example, the upper packaging material 1 and the lower packaging material 2 which make a pair up and down explain the case where one packaged article is accommodated and hold | maintained, and it accommodates in the exterior box C and packages. However, in addition to this, for example, two or more of the buffer packaging materials of the above-described embodiments can be stored in the outer box, and a plurality of items to be packaged can be packaged simultaneously.

Moreover, as shown in the lower packaging material 2 in FIG. 8, the upper packaging material and the lower packaging material, which form a pair in the upper and lower sides, are each formed into a flat rectangular shape, and two storage recesses are set in each main body portion of the upper and lower packaging materials. It can also be carried out in the same manner as above. In this case, as shown in the example of FIG. 8, the two side walls 25 can also serve as a partition wall between the two storage recesses 22 in the main body 21.

FIGS. 9-11 has each shown the upper packaging material 1 among the upper and lower packaging materials of the further another Example of this invention.

In the embodiment of FIG. 9, similarly to the above embodiment, the top receiving portion 14 is provided on the lower surface of the top portion 13 in the storage recess 12 of the upper packaging material 1, and the inner surface of the side wall 15 surrounding the storage recess 12. In addition to providing the buffer protrusions 16 on the top surface, the top portion (outer surface) of the top portion 13 is provided with a convex portion 17 for abutting the top portion that contacts the top portion of the outer case C in the packaged state. A space can be held between and supported. The lower packaging material paired with the upper packaging material 1 is not shown in the figure, but, similarly to the above, apart from the buffer projections and projections in the housing recess, the bottom surface is a convex that contacts the bottom of the exterior box. Parts are provided. In this case, the top and bottom buffering effects are further enhanced.

10 and 11, similarly to the above-described embodiments, the top receiving convex portion 14 is provided on the lower surface (inner surface) of the top portion 13 of the storage recess 12 of the upper packaging material 1. In addition to providing the buffer protrusion 16 on the inner surface of the side wall 15 surrounding the storage recess 12, the top surface (outer surface) of the top portion 13 has a top contact projection that contacts the top portion of the exterior box C in the packaged state. For example, in the case of FIG. 10, the portions 17 are provided at four places at intervals in the front-rear and left-right directions, and in the case of FIG. 11, the portions 17 are provided at the four corners on the top surface of the top. Further, on the outer surface of each side wall 15 surrounding the storage recess 12, buffer projections 18 for side contact are provided at several locations such as positions close to the corner portion, and in addition to the buffer projections 18, Each corner portion is provided with a buffer projection 19 for a ridge portion that protrudes obliquely outward and abuts on both side inner surfaces of the ridge portion by the side surface portion of the exterior box or is close to each other with a slight gap. As a result, even if the thickness of the side wall, top and bottom is reduced for weight reduction and cost reduction, when an external force is applied to the outer box, each of the buffer protrusions is elastically deformed to give an impact. It can be absorbed and relaxed, and the ridge portion of the outer box becomes strong against external pressure, and for example, the ridge portion and corner portion are not easily dented or damaged even when falling obliquely. In particular, in the case of the embodiment of FIG. 11, the buffer projection 18 and the oblique buffer projection 19 are such that the end on the top portion side extends to the same plane position as the convex portion 17, and the extended end portion is the above-described end portion. The protrusion 17 is formed continuously. This increases the contact area with the bottom and top of the exterior box by the convex part for receiving the bottom part or the convex part for receiving the top part, so that a stable support state can be maintained, and the ridges and corners of the exterior box are recessed. The effect of prevention can be further enhanced.

10 and 11, the lower packaging material paired with the upper packaging material 1 is not shown in the figure. The projecting portion for contacting the bottom portion is provided with a buffer projection for side contact on the outer surface of the side wall, and an oblique buffer projection on the corner portion.

In the case of these embodiments as well, a buffering effect can be obtained by having a required space corresponding to the protruding height of the protrusion 17 and the buffer protrusion 18 between the outer surface of the bottom 13 and the side wall 15 and the inner surface of the exterior box. In addition, the oblique buffering protrusions 19 have the effect of preventing excessive deformation of the ridges of the outer box.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be suitably used to store and package a substrate storage box containing various substrates such as a semiconductor wafer and a glass substrate in an outer box, and also requires a high buffer protection effect.
