Description
正極活物質の合成は以下のようにして水熱合成で行った。Li源としてLiOH・H2O、Fe源としてFeSO4・7H2O、P源としてH3PO4を用い、これらをモル比でLi:Fe:P=3:1:1となるように純水に溶解して120mlの前駆体溶液を作製した。
実施例1において、ディスパーミキサーに代えて径1mmのジルコニアビーズを用いたビーズミルで混合・分散を行った。それ以外は実施例1と同様にしてコイン型電池を作成した。
実施例1と同様の手順で作製されたケーキ状の活物質を複数回十分に水洗した後に、アセトンで洗滌してろ過し、70℃で2時間真空乾燥させて粉末状のLiFePO4を得た。これに実施例1で用いたものと同じCMC溶液(粘性溶液)を用いて、さらに同様の導電剤を加えて実施例1と同様にしてミキサーで混合して、固形分として3重量部含む水分散結着剤を添加し、更に分散させて正極ペーストを作製した。これを実施例1と同様にしてアルミニウム箔に塗工し、乾燥・圧延・打ち抜いて正極板を得た。この正極板を用いてコイン型電池を作製した。
実施例1と同様の手順で作製されたケーキ状の活物質を複数回十分に水洗した後に、アセトンで洗滌してろ過し、70℃で2時間真空乾燥して粉末状のLiFePO4を得た。この粉末状のLiFePO4を85重量部アセチレンブラック(AB)を10重量部、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)5重量部に有機溶媒のN−メチル−2−ピロリドン(NMP)を加えてディスパーミキサーで十分に分散し有機溶媒系ペーストを得た。これを用いて比較例2と同様にしてコイン型電池を作製した。
以下に、本願出願の当初の特許請求の範囲に記載された発明を付記する。
[1] 正極活物質を水熱合成法により作製し、これを乾燥させることなく正極活物質に導電剤、結着剤、増粘剤を加え、さらに分散剤を加えて混練したペーストを集電体に塗布し、次いで分散剤を乾燥除去して加圧し、かつ正極活物質の合成から塗布までの工程を水系湿式で行うことを特徴とする非水電解液二次電池用正極板の製造方法。
[2] 前記正極活物質が、LiMPO 4 (Mは遷移金属のうち少なくとも一種以上。)である[1]記載の非水電解液二次電池用正極板の製造方法。
[3] 前記正極化物質が、リン酸鉄リチウムである[1]記載の非水電解液二次電池用正極板の製造方法。
[4] 前記正極活物質の一次粒子の径が、1μm以下である[1]記載の非水電解液二次電池用正極板の製造方法。
[5] [4]記載の正極板を用いた非水電解液二次電池。

正極活物質を乾燥させることなく、正極活物質に導電剤、結着剤、増粘剤を加え、さらに分散剤を加えて混練した導電性ペーストを形成する工程と、
この導電性ペーストを集電体に塗布する工程と、
集電体に塗布した導電性ペーストから分散剤を乾燥除去して加圧する工程とを具備し、
正極活物質の合成から塗布までの工程を水系湿式で行うことを特徴とする非水電解液二次電池用正極板の製造方法。 - 前記正極活物質が、LiMPO4(Mは遷移金属のうち少なくとも一種以上。)である請求項1記載の非水電解液二次電池用正極板の製造方法。
- 前記正極化物質が、リン酸鉄リチウムである請求項1記載の非水電解液二次電池用正極板の製造方法。
- 前記正極活物質の一次粒子の径が、1μm以下である請求項1記載の非水電解液二次電池用正極板の製造方法。
- 請求項4記載の正極板を用いた非水電解液二次電池。
