Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a holding clip for attaching a vehicle body exterior product such as a bumper to a body side member.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In order to fix the bumper of the vehicle to the body side member, a bumper mounting structure using a clip has been proposed as described in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-52900. In this conventional example, a plate-like support part of a bumper is inserted between a rigid wall formed on a clip fixed to a vehicle body and an elastic gripping piece, and the clip is inserted into a locking hole formed in the support part. The locking projection is fitted.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Both end portions of a bumper such as a passenger car extend in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body along both side surfaces of the vehicle body. For this reason, in order to attach both ends of the bumper to the body side member with the clip, the both ends of the bumper are greatly expanded in the width direction of the vehicle body, and then a pair of left and right bumpers provided on the body side member. An operation to fit the clip is necessary. For this reason, workability | operativity was bad, and also the position alignment at the time of making the latching protrusion of a clip fit in the said latching hole was difficult. There is also a problem that it is difficult to remove the bumper from the clip when it is necessary to remove the bumper once attached to the body side member.
[0004]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a holding clip capable of easily attaching a vehicle body exterior such as a bumper to a predetermined position of a body side member. Still another object is to make it possible to easily remove the vehicle body exterior product.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The holding clip according to the present invention is configured as described in claim 1, and when the vehicle body exterior product is attached to the body side member, when the vehicle body exterior product is pushed upward from the vehicle body downward, the edge of the vehicle body exterior product is provided. The tip of the edge of the vehicle body exterior product is guided to the second locking portion by moving upward while moving toward the outside of the vehicle while sliding the guide inclined wall while the tip of the vehicle is in contact with the guide inclined wall. The edge portion of the vehicle body exterior product can be locked to the second locking portion.
[0006]
In the first aspect of the present invention, the second locking portion is formed with a convex portion that can be fitted into a locking hole formed in an edge portion of the vehicle body exterior product. The convex portion has an inclined surface that allows the tip of the edge of the vehicle body exterior product to slide from the outside of the vehicle body toward the top of the convex portion, and the convex portion is fitted in the locking hole. A retaining wall that rises from the locking surface at an angle that can be hooked to the edge of the locking hole in a state, and further, when the vehicle body exterior product is shifted in the vehicle longitudinal direction on the side surface of the convex portion A guide slope that is inclined with respect to the locking surface at a smaller angle than the retaining wall is formed so that the edge can run over the convex portion so that the convex portion can be removed from the locking hole. Yes. In this case, the tip of the edge portion of the vehicle body exterior product moves while riding on the inclined surface of the convex portion, and the convex portion finally fits into the locking hole. When it becomes necessary to remove the vehicle body exterior product from the holding clip, the vehicle body exterior product is slightly shifted in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body.
[0007]
By doing so, the edge of the vehicle body exterior product runs over the projection along the guide slope of the projection, so that the projection is removed from the locking hole, and the vehicle body exterior product can be removed from the holding clip. If this guide slope is formed on both sides of the projection, the same clip can be used on either side of the vehicle body.
[0008]
In the invention described in claim 2, when the edge of the vehicle body exterior product is moved from the vehicle body outer side toward the convex portion, the locking hole has reached a position where it can be fitted into the convex portion. At the time, the edge of the vehicle body exterior product comes into contact with the stopper wall, so that the position of the edge can be regulated.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 1 shows a part of a vehicle body 10 of a vehicle (in this case, an automobile). The vehicle includes a body side member 11 such as a body panel that forms the outer surface of the vehicle body 10, a frame member 12 that forms a skeleton of the vehicle body 10, a front bumper 13 made of a synthetic resin, which is an example of a vehicle body exterior product, and the like. Yes.
[0010]
Both end portions 13a and 13b of the bumper 13 are attached to predetermined positions on the left and right side portions of the body side member 11 by holding clips 30 described below. The locations where the bumper 13 is attached to the vehicle body 10 are fixed to the vehicle body 10 by well-known bolts and the like except for the end portions 13a and 13b, and the description thereof will be omitted.
[0011]
The mounting structure of one end 13a of the both ends 13a and 13b of the bumper 13 is shown in FIG. The other end 13b has a similar mounting structure.
As shown in FIG. 2, a recess 15 is formed in a part of the body side member 11. The recess 15 has an inner wall 16 that is bent from the outer surface 11 a of the body side member 11 toward the inside of the vehicle body, and a rear wall 17 that extends downward from the inner wall 16. A mounting hole 18 is formed in the upper part of the back wall 17. The upper edge portion 20 of the end portion 13a of the bumper 13 is provided with a mounting portion 21 that extends in a substantially horizontal direction from the outer surface 13c of the bumper 13 toward the inner side of the vehicle body. A locking hole 22 penetrating in the vertical direction is formed in the mounting portion 21. The locking hole 22 is opened facing a second locking portion 32 of a holding clip 30 described later.
[0012]
A holding clip 30 is attached to the back wall 17 of the recess 15. The holding clip 30 is an integrally molded product of synthetic resin typified by, for example, polyacetal, nylon, and the like, and includes a first locking portion 31 that is locked to the body side member 11 and a second locking that locks the bumper 13. A portion 32 and a mounting surface 33 facing the back wall 17 are provided. The second locking portion 32 faces the inner wall 16.
[0013]
The 1st latching | locking part 31 has the retaining part 37 which has a pair of upper and lower spring property, as shown in FIG. The holding clip 30 can be attached to the back wall 17 with one touch by inserting the first locking portion 31 into the mounting hole 18 of the back wall 17 and hooking the retaining portion 37 on the opening edge of the mounting hole 18.
[0014]
The second locking portion 32 includes a locking surface 40 that extends substantially in the horizontal direction when the clip 30 is attached to the back wall 17, a convex portion 41 that protrudes above the locking surface 40, and a vehicle of the convex portion 41. It has a pair of stopper walls 42 etc. which are located in the body side. An inclined surface 46 that gradually increases toward the locking surface 40 is formed on the upper edge 45 a of the end surface 45 of the holding clip 30 on the outer side of the vehicle body.
[0015]
A guide inclined wall 50 is formed on the end face 45 on the outer side of the vehicle body along the vertical direction.
The guide inclined wall 50 has an arc shape that protrudes outward so as to approach the body side member 11 from the upper edge portion 45a toward the vehicle body lower side. That is, when the bumper 13 is pushed up from the lower side of the vehicle body to the upper side, the guide inclined wall 50 is in the state where the tip 51 of the edge 20 of the bumper 13 is in contact with the guide inclined wall 50 as shown in FIG. The tip 51 of the 20 moves to the outside of the vehicle body (in the direction indicated by the arrow A in FIG. 6) while sliding on the guide inclined wall 50, and moves upward (in the direction indicated by the arrow B in FIG. 6). The tip 51 forms a slope that is guided by the second locking portion 32.
[0016]
The second locking portion 32 has a convex portion 41 that can be fitted into the locking hole 22 formed in the bumper 13. The convex portion 41 protrudes from the vicinity of the inclined surface 46 toward the inner wall 16. The convex portion 41 has an inclined surface 55 that allows the tip 51 of the edge 20 of the bumper 13 to slide from the outer side of the vehicle body toward the top 41 a of the convex portion 41.
The inclined surface 55 is located on the inner side of the vehicle body so that when the edge 20 of the bumper 13 moves in the direction of arrow C in FIG. Inclined so that the height becomes larger toward.
[0017]
A retaining wall 56 is formed on the back side of the convex portion 41 so that the edge 22a of the locking hole 22 is caught after the convex portion 41 enters the locking hole 22. The retaining wall 56 rises at an angle close to a right angle with respect to the locking surface 40 so that the convex portion 41 fitted in the locking hole 22 does not return in the direction of arrow D in FIG. Yes.
[0018]
As shown in FIG. 4, a pair of slits 60 is formed in the second locking portion 32.
The area | region inside these slits 60 is the spring part 61 which can bend in the up-down direction in FIG. The convex portion 41 is formed on the upper surface of the spring portion 61.
When the tip 51 of the edge 20 of the bumper 13 is inserted in the direction of arrow C in FIG. 6, the convex portion 41 is pushed downward by the lower surface 21a of the mounting portion 21 of the bumper 13, and the spring portion 61 is bent. The attachment portion 21 can be inserted toward the stopper wall 42.
When the locking hole 22 reaches a position where it can be fitted into the convex portion 41, the convex portion 41 is fitted into the locking hole 22 by the elasticity of the spring portion 61. That is, the convex portion 41 has a spring property that can be bent in the vertical direction by the spring portion 61.
[0019]
As shown in FIG. 5, guide slopes 62 and 63 are formed on both side surfaces of the convex portion 41 (both surfaces in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body). When the bumper 13 is moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body along the body-side member 11, the guide slopes 62 and 63 are configured so that one of the guide slopes 62 and 63 is attached to the mounting portion 21 of the bumper 13 according to the movement direction. An inclined surface whose height increases toward the top portion 41a is formed so that the lower surface 21a of the upper surface 21a slides on the convex portion 41.
[0020]
The stopper wall 42 protruding upward toward the inner wall 16 is formed at the rear portion of the second locking portion 32, that is, on the side close to the mounting surface 33. When the stopper wall 42 moves the edge 20 of the bumper 13 from the outer side of the vehicle body toward the protrusion 41, the edge of the stopper wall 42 reaches the position where the locking hole 22 can be fitted to the protrusion 41. It is provided at a position where the tip 51 of the 20 abuts.
[0021]
Next, a procedure for attaching the bumper 13 to the body side member 11 using the holding clip 30 will be described.
First, the holding clip 30 is attached to the back wall 17 of the recess 15 by inserting the first locking portion 31 of the holding clip 30 into the attachment hole 18 of the body side member 11.
A gap is formed between the second locking portion 32 of the holding clip 30 and the inner wall 16 of the recess 15.
[0022]
As shown in FIG. 6, the bumper 13 is pushed up from the lower side of the vehicle body so that the tip 51 of the edge 20 of the bumper 13 is in contact with the guide inclined wall 50. By doing so, the front end 51 of the edge 20 of the bumper 13 is in contact with the guide inclined wall 50, and the front end 51 of the edge 20 slides on the guide inclined wall 50 toward the outside of the vehicle body (the direction indicated by the arrow A). By moving upward (in the direction indicated by arrow B) while moving, the tip 51 of the edge 20 is guided to the second locking portion 32 of the holding clip 30. Since the guide inclined wall 50 has an arc shape, the tip 51 of the edge 20 can be smoothly guided in the A and B directions.
[0023]
After that, the edge portion 20 is moved to a position where the locking hole 22 is fitted to the convex portion 41 by hitting the edge portion 20 of the bumper 13 from the outer side of the vehicle body and pushing it toward the rear wall 17. . As the mounting portion 21 moves toward the stopper wall 42, the convex portion 41 is pushed by the lower surface 21a of the mounting portion 21, so that the spring portion 61 is bent in the direction in which the convex portion 41 is retracted inside the locking surface 40. Mu For this reason, the attachment portion 21 can be inserted between the inner wall 16 and the locking surface 40. Immediately before the tip 51 of the edge portion 20 reaches the stopper wall 42, the convex portion 41 enters the locking hole 22 by the elasticity of the spring portion 61.
[0024]
To remove the bumper 13 from the holding clip 30, the bumper 13 is slightly moved in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body 10 (the direction indicated by the arrow E in FIG. 1). By doing so, the lower surface 21a of the mounting portion 21 of the bumper 13 rides on the guide slope 62 of the convex portion 41, and the convex portion 41 is pushed and the spring portion 61 is bent. Come off. After that, if the bumper 13 is moved away from the body side member 11, the attachment portion 21 can be removed from the holding clip 30.
[0025]
In the case of this embodiment, guide slopes 62 and 63 are provided on both side surfaces of the convex portion 41 so that the common holding clip 30 can be used for the left and right end portions 13 a and 13 b of the bumper 13. That is, at one end 13 a of the bumper 13, the lower surface 21 a of the mounting portion 21 rides on one guide slope 62 when the bumper 13 is removed. At the other end 13 b of the bumper 13, the lower surface 21 a of the mounting portion 21 rides on the other guide slope 63 when the bumper 13 is removed.
[0026]
The holding clip of the present invention described above can be applied to the case where a vehicle body exterior product other than the front bumper and the rear bumper is attached to the body side member. In carrying out the present invention, the components of the present invention, such as the specific shape of the body side member and the vehicle body exterior product, the first locking portion and the second locking portion of the holding clip, and the shape of the inclined guide wall, are used. Needless to say, various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
[0027]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, by pushing up the vehicle body exterior product from the vehicle body lower side, the edge of the vehicle body exterior product is guided to the second locking portion by the guide inclined wall of the holding clip. The operation of attaching the exterior product to a predetermined position of the body side member can be easily performed.
[0028]
According to the first aspect of the invention, the edge of the vehicle body exterior product can be more easily locked to the second locking portion of the holding clip, and the vehicle body exterior product needs to be removed from the holding clip. Sometimes, the edge of the vehicle body exterior product can be easily removed from the holding clip by slightly shifting the vehicle body exterior product to the side.
[0029]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, when the vehicle body exterior product is attached to the body side member, the front end of the edge of the vehicle body exterior product abuts against the stopper wall, so that the vehicle body exterior with respect to the convex portion of the second locking portion. Since the position of the locking hole of the product can be regulated, the vehicle body exterior product can be attached more easily.
