本発明は、スリットバルブを備えたキャップに関し、各種内容物に対して内容物を吐出させる際の液切れを改善して内容物の付着、固化に起因したバルブの作動不良及び吐出孔周辺の汚れを有利に回避しようとするものである。

【従来の技術】
化粧料や洗顔料等を収納する容器は、内容物の適量吐出が可能でかつその吐出に際して良好な液切れを可能とするスリットタイプのバルブが使用されている。

スリットタイプのバルブは通常、十字状の切り込みが形成されており、容器の胴部を加圧して内圧を高め、バルブの中央域に設けたスリットを瞬時に開放させることにより内容物を適量吐出することができるようになっている。

ところで、従来のバルブは、内容物としてクリームのような粘度の高いものを用いる場合にはとくに問題はないものの、オイル系の化粧料や植物油等、比較的粘度の低いものを用いる場合では、内容物を吐出させた際の切れが悪いため、バルブの先端部分に内容物が付着してしまうのが避けられない。

そして、付着した内容物をそのままにしておくとそれが固化してしまいバルブの開放動作にしばしば悪影響を及ぼしたり、吐出孔周辺の汚れにつながる不具合があった。

本発明は、内容物の吐出に際して液切れのよい新規なスリットバルブ付きのキャップを提案するところにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、容器内に通じる開口を有するキャップ本体と、このキャップ本体の開口にバルブ押さえとの挟持下に固定保持され容器の傾動姿勢を保持しつつその胴部の加圧によりスリットを開放して容器内の内容物を適量吐出させるスリットバルブと、このスリットバルブを覆い隠しキャップ本体に着脱自在に保持される蓋体とを備え、
前記スリットは、互いに十字状に直交する切り込みの組合せからなり、
前記キャップ本体は、前記開口を形成する周壁の下端部が切り欠かれてなる凹部を有し、
前記バルブ押さえは、前記凹部に適合する凸部を有し、
前記スリットの切り込みの一方を容器を傾動させる向きに合致させてなることを特徴とするスリットバルブ付きキャップである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して本発明をより具体的に説明する。
図1に本発明に従うスリットバルブを備えたキャップを円筒状の胴部を有する容器に適用した構成例を示す。

キャップ2は図2(a)(b)にその平面及び断面をそれぞれ示したように、容器1内に通じる開口Oを有し、容器1の口部においてねじ止めすることができるキャップ本体2aと、キャップ本体2aの開口Oに配置されバルブ押さえ3との挟持下に固定保持されるスリットバルブ2bと、スリットバルブ2bを覆い隠しキャップ本体2aに着脱自在に保持されるヒンジタイプを例とした蓋体2cからなっている。

スリットバルブ2bはその先端部分に、容器を傾動させる向き(X)に沿う切り込みSとこの切り込みSに直交する切り込みS1との組み合わせになる十字状のスリットが形成されている。

通常、この種のキャップは、キャップ本体へのバルブの取り付けに際して厳密な位置決め管理がなされておらず、図3に示すような状態にて組み込まれることもあり、このような状態で内容物を吐出させると、内容物によっては液切れがよくないために図4に示すようにバルブの先端部分に内容物が付着することもあって、これがバルブの開放動作を阻害したり、吐出孔周辺を汚してしまう要因にもなっていたわけである。

本発明に従うキャップは、スリットの切り込みSについて、容器を傾動させる向き(X)に合致しているため、バルブが開放動作から閉塞動作に移行する際、バルブ先端部分に存在する内容物を容器内へと吸い込むようになるため粘度の低い内容物であっても液切れがよい。

キャップ本体2aにスリットバルブ2bを取り付けるに際してスリットSの位置合わせを行なうには、図5(a)(b)に示すように、バルブ押さえ3に予め凸部3aを設けておき、このバルブ押さえ3を保持するキャップ本体2aには該凸部3aに適合する凹部hを設けておく。そして、バルブ押さえ3の凸部3aをキャップ本体2aの凹部hに適合させたときに、バルブ2bの切り込みSが容器の傾動する向きに合致するようスリットバルブ2aとバルブ押さえ3とを予め位置決めしておく。

上掲図1に示したように、ヒンジタイプの蓋体2cを備えたキャップは蓋体2cが上方になるように容器を傾動させればその向き(X)とスリットの切り込みSが一致するものであり、図4に示した状態で内容物が吐出することはない。

図6は胴部が偏平になるチューブタイプの容器に適用した例を示したものである。かかる容器に装着したキャップは蓋体2cがキャップ本体2aから取り外すことができるものを適用しており、内容物の吐出に際して容器の幅広面が上下になるように容器を傾動させることを前提とした場合に、その向き(X)にスリットの切り込みSが沿うようにキャップを装着するものであって、この容器についても、容器を傾動させる向き(X)とスリットの切り込みSとが一致する限りにおいて液ぎれが改善される。

なお、図6に示すような容器は、容器の胴部につき、その幅狭面が上下になるように容器を傾動させるとき、その傾動する向きにスリットの切り込みS1が沿うこととなり、この場合も液ぎれが改善される。

容器を傾動させる向きは、蓋体(ヒンジタイプ)の取り付け位置や容器の胴部形状にて決定することができるが、その他、図示はしないが、キャップあるいは容器の胴部に容器を傾けるべき方向を示すマーク(例えば矢印等)を設けることにより内容物を吐出させるべき方向を表示することも可能である。

本発明によれば、内容物の粘度の高低の如何にかかかわらず液ぎれがよいので内容物の付着、固化によってバルブが作動不良を起こしたり、吐出孔周辺が汚れることがない。
