Claims (3)
- 1周期期間内において複数の走査信号線を順次走査することにより表示を行う表示装置において、
前記走査信号線と交差する複数のデータ信号線と、
前記データ信号線に接続された画素電極と、
前記画素電極に対向配置され、前記周期期間毎に印加電圧の極性が反転される対向電極と
を備え、
前記画素電極の各々に接続されたTFT素子を備え、
前記TFT素子のゲート端子は走査信号線に接続され、ソース端子はデータ信号線に接続され、ドレイン端子は画素電極に接続され、
前記1周期期間は、走査信号線を一巡走査する走査期間と、走査信号線が走査されない非走査期間とを含み、
前記非走査期間において、周期期間毎の印加電圧の極性反転にかかわらず、対向電極に印加する電圧の極性を何れか一方に固定することを特徴とする、表示装置。 - 前記画素電極と前記対向電極との間に液晶層を備える液晶表示装置であり、
前記TFT素子がNチャンネルトランジスタであり、
全ての非走査期間において対向電極にハイレベルの電位を印加することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記1周期期間は、フィールドシーケンシャルによる液晶駆動において1つの画像を表示するフィールド期間又はフレーム期間であり、
前記周期期間内の走査期間において複数のデータ信号線にデータ信号を順次印加することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。
