Description

The present invention relates to a self-checkout system used as a form of an accounting system such as a supermarket.

The conventional self-checkout system is equipped with a weighing unit that measures the total weight of a shopping basket with products before scanning, and a scanner that reads the barcode attached to the products. The accounting unit is composed of an accounting body having a settlement function for performing the payment and a stacking table for placing a shopping bag for storing the product after reading. Further, in the self-checkout system, it is necessary to check whether or not the product is correctly registered. For this purpose, as shown in Patent Document 1, the upstream side and the downstream side of the product flow The total weight is measured in That is, a first weighing unit that measures the total weight of the shopping basket containing the product, a scanner that reads the product data, and a second weighing unit that measures the total weight of the shopping basket that stores the measured product are placed on a large counter. The whole is configured as an integrated device.

The conventional self-checkout system is characterized in that the shopper scans the merchandise and performs the accounting process by himself, but the scanned merchandise must be sequentially stored in a shopping bag. However, some products, such as tofu and sashimi, which are soft and dislikes deformation, may not be subject to pressure due to the overlapping of the products. Considering the scanning order before scanning It is necessary to choose. That is, consideration must be given to scanning from a product that does not interfere with external pressure applied. Therefore, the operability at the time of scanning is very bad and not efficient.

The present invention provides a self-checkout system provided with a shopping basket, an accounting body, and a stacking table for collecting products after reading, and putting the products for which scanning by the scanner has been completed into the measuring device of the stacking table. A plastic bag holder for holding a plastic bag is provided, and a product table for temporarily placing the product, which has been scanned by the scanner before being placed in the plastic bag, in the measuring device of the stacking table is provided. Further, a value obtained by subtracting the weight of the shopping basket from the weight measured by the weighing instrument of the shopping basket, and a value including the weight of the product placed on the commodity placing table measured by the measuring instrument of the stacking table, Were compared to check for fraud.

The present invention takes out a product from a shopping basket placed on a shopping basket, scans it with an accounting body, and puts the scanned product into a shopping basket or a shopping bag on an accumulation table when performing a self-checkout operation. When a product is randomly picked up from a shopping basket placed on the table and put into a shopping basket or a plastic bag on the stacking table, a soft product or a product that does not like deformation is temporarily placed on the product table, and finally The product can be placed on top of the shopping basket on the stacking table or other products in the shopping bag, thereby preventing deformation and temporarily placing the product on the product stand. Because it is measured with a measuring instrument, it is possible to perform correct accounting.

A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. First, the shopping basket stand 1, the accounting body 2, and the collection stand 3 are formed as independent block-like casings 4, 5, and 6, respectively. The housing 4 of the shopping basket 1 and the housing 6 of the stacking table 3 are trapezoids that taper forward when viewed from above, and the front surfaces 7 and 8 are inclined surfaces that retract downward to the back side. ing. The front surface 9 of the accounting main body 2 is also an inclined surface with the lower side retracted to the back side, like the front surfaces 7 and 8. The shopping basket stand 1, the accounting main body 2, and the stacking stand 3 are arranged in the lateral direction with their side surfaces being in close contact with each other. Therefore, each of the shopping basket stand 1, the accounting main body 2, and the stacking stand 3 has front surfaces 7, 8, and 9 arranged along a certain arc.

Next, the shopping basket table 1 is provided with a measuring instrument 10 on the housing 4. A shopping basket 11 containing a product that the shopper wants to buy is placed on the measuring instrument 10, and the total weight including the shopping basket 11 is measured.

The accounting main body 2 is provided with a settlement function unit 12 on the housing 5. That is, a coin change machine 13 and a banknote change machine 14 are provided below the settlement function unit 12. A table 15 is provided above the coin change machine 13 and the bill change machine 14, and a scanner 16, a password input device 17, and a receipt printer 18 are provided above the table 15. Above, a touch panel surface 19 and a card reader 20 are provided, and a lamp 21 is provided at the center back. The scanner 16 is formed to be separable as a scanner block 22, and is disposed in the housing 5 so as to be covered with a cover or the like so that it can be taken out.

Further, the stacking table 3 is provided with a measuring device 23 different from the measuring device 10 on the housing 6. A product placing table 25 is provided behind the measuring instrument 23 via a support column 24 rising upward. In front of the product placing table 25, two plastic bag hooks 27 for holding a single plastic bag 26 opened so as to store products are formed to protrude. At the center of these shopping bag holders 27, a holding portion 28 for holding unused stacked shopping bag 26 is provided. In general, the number of stacked shopping bags 26 is 100, and the thickness of the stacked bags is about 5 mm.

In such a configuration, as shown in FIG. 2, the shopping basket 1, the accounting main body 2, and the stacking table 3 are composed of the shopping basket 1, the accounting main body 2, and the stacking base 3 from the left to the right. They are arranged in order, and they are installed so that their respective side surfaces are in close contact. Since the shape seen from the upper side of the shopping basket stand 1 and the collection stand 3 is a tapered trapezoid, the front surfaces 7, 8, and 9 are arranged along a certain arc, that is, in a fan shape. The shopping basket stand 1, the accounting body 2, and the collection stand 3 are connected to a power source and a signal line by connection of electric wires (not shown). Furthermore, if wireless communication or the like is used for the wiring relationship, communication is possible regardless of the arrangement of the shopping basket 1, the accounting main body 2, and the stacking table 3.

Then, the shopper places the shopping basket 11 containing the products to be purchased on the measuring instrument 10 of the shopping basket 1. As a result, the total weight is sent as data to the settlement function unit 12, and the shopper scans each product with the scanner 16 in accordance with the screen instruction on the touch panel surface 19 of the accounting body 2, and the product for which scanning has been completed. The plastic bag 26 attached to the plastic bag hook 27 of the stacking table 3 is put in. The shopping bag 26 is stocked in a state of being stacked on the holding unit 28, but the shopper takes out one shopping bag 26 and opens it on the shopping bag holder 27 prior to scanning the product. It's something you'll hang on.

When performing this scanning operation, the shopper randomly picks up products from the shopping basket 11 placed on the shopping basket 1. And while scanning, the shopper holds the product in hand, so it can be judged whether the product can be stacked or dislikes deformation. In the case of a product that does not have a product, it is put in a plastic bag 26, and in the case where the product does not like deformation, it is temporarily placed on the product table 25. When all the products have been scanned, the weights of all the products including the products placed on the product table 25 are measured, and it is checked whether there is any fraud. That is, the shopper performs an accounting process on the touch panel surface 19. In this accounting process, a cash or card payment method is selected by a screen operation. In the case of cash, the cash is inserted into the coin change machine 13 or the bill change machine 14, and in the case of a card, the card is read into the card reader. Pass through. When such an accounting process is completed, a receipt is issued from the receipt printer 18, and when there is a change, the change is returned from the coin change machine 13 or the bill change machine 14, and the checkout is completed. At this time, as described above, the total weight of the product including the shopping basket 11 weighed by the measuring instrument 10 of the shopping basket table 1 is measured, and the total weight after scanning all the products is the accumulation table 3. It is weighed by a measuring instrument 23 of For this reason, all the products registered by comparing the value obtained by subtracting the weight of the shopping basket 11 from the data of the measuring instrument 10 and the weight measured by the measuring instrument 23 have moved to the shopping bag 26 and the product placing table 25. This is confirmed and fraud prevention is achieved by this detection. After the accounting process is correctly completed, the products placed on the product stand 25 are stacked and stored on the products in the plastic bag 26, and the shopper returns with the plastic bag 26 as it is. The accounting body 2 is provided with a controller (POS), a power source, etc. (not shown) and controls each device.

Further, as described above, the shopping basket 1, the accounting body 2, and the collection board 3 are arranged in a fan shape, so that a product is taken out from the shopping basket 11 on the shopping basket 1 and scanned by the scanner 16. In addition, since the operation of putting in the shopping bag 26 of the stacking table 3 can be performed by an arc-shaped movement centering on the shopper standing in front of the accounting body 2, the operation is performed only by the shopper standing at a certain position. High workability.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3, the front surfaces 7, 8, and 9 of the shopping basket 1, the accounting body 2, and the stacking table 3 are inclined so that the lower side is retracted to the back side. Even in a state of using a wheelchair or the like, it is possible to further approach the shopping basket table 1, the accounting body 2, and the stacking table 3, and the operability can be improved. In this state, even a healthy person or a child can put the tip of the foot into the space formed by the inclination, so that it is possible to approach the shopping basket table 1, the accounting body 2, and the stacking table 3, which is easy to operate. Can be improved. Further, the scanner block 22 can be taken out from the accounting body 2 and placed on the product table 25. Thereby, the scanning of goods can be performed on the stacking table 3, and the operability can be improved by reducing the travel distance of the shopper.

It is also possible for the shopper to carry out a self-checkout with his / her own shopping basket 11. In this case, the shopping bag 11 is placed on the measuring instrument 23 without pulling out the shopping bag 26 on the shopping bag holder 27, and the scanned product is put into the shopping basket 11. Also in this case, products that dislike deformation are temporarily placed on the product placing table 25, and finally those products are put into the shopping basket 11.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described based on FIG. The same parts as those described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted (the same applies hereinafter). In this embodiment, the accounting bodies 2 are arranged side by side on the right side of the shopping basket stand 1, and the stacking stand 3 is arranged at a right angle toward the shopper. Therefore, the shopping basket stand 1 and the accounting main body 2 are arranged side by side, and the stacking table 3 is arranged toward the shopper, so that the whole is an L-shaped arrangement. By arranging in this way, the moving distance of the product from the shopping basket 11 to the shopping bag 26 is shortened, and the operability is improved.

Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. In the present embodiment, the shopping basket stand 1, the stacking stand 3, and the accounting main body 2 are arranged in this order from the left to the right. Then, the scanning block 22 is taken out from the accounting body 2 and set on the product placing table 25 of the stacking table 3 (this state is not shown) . By arranging in this way, the product reading operation can be performed only by moving the product over a short distance between the shopping basket table 1 and the stacking table 3, and the burden on the shopper can be reduced. . In addition, product data can be input in a state where the travel distance of the product is short. After the scanning of all the commodities is completed, the shopper performs accounting processing in front of the accounting body 2 and ends the self-check.

Since the product placing table 25 of the present invention is supported by the column 24 protruding from the measuring instrument 23 and is positioned above the measuring instrument 23, a space for moving the product above the shopping bag 26 is ensured. And does not impair the operability of shoppers.

Further, since the plastic bag hook 27 for holding the plastic bag 26 is provided on the product placing table 25, the plastic bag 26 can be easily supplied.

It is a perspective view which shows the 1st embodiment of this invention. It is a top view which shows the state of a layout notionally. It is the side view which looked at the housing | casing from the side surface direction. It is a perspective view which shows the 2nd embodiment of this invention. It is a perspective view which shows the 3rd embodiment of this invention.
