本発明は、交換レンズ鏡筒に使用するフイルター操作装置およびフイルター操作装置を着脱可能に装着したレンズ鏡筒に関するものである。

従来、交換レンズ鏡筒の光学機器に使用するフイルター操作装置として、交換レンズ鏡筒の一部切り欠き部に挿入して使用する差込式フイルターにおいて、偏光フイルターが装着されるもので、外部の操作ダイヤルを回転させてフイルター自身を回動可能に構成されたものがある。
その一例を図4〜図6に示す。すなわち、フイルターホルダー本体1はその外周部に操作ダイヤル2が挿入される切り欠き穴1aと操作ダイヤル軸7のねじ部7bがねじ込まれるねじ穴1bとフイルター枠3が回動可能に嵌合する嵌合部1cが設けられている。該操作ダイヤル2は外部から使用者の手によって回動操作され、該フイルター枠3の外周部のギヤ部3aと噛合するギヤ部2a及び該操作ダイヤル軸7の先端にねじ部7bを有する軸部7aが嵌合挿入される穴部2bが設けられている。また、該フイルター枠3には偏光フイルター4が押え環5で固定されて偏光フイルターユニットAを構成し、該偏光フイルターユニットAを該フイルターホルダー本体1に回動可能に嵌合させた後、C型ワッシャー6でスラスト規制のみを行うように保持している。また、レンズ鏡筒の固定部8の穴8aに該フイルターホルダー本体1が挿入して装着される。

本発明は、レンズ鏡筒に着脱可能のフイルター操作装置であって、装置本体の外部からの操作によって前記装置本体の内部に設けたフイルターユニットを回転操作可能としたフイルター操作装置において、前記装置本体の外部と内部を遮断する隔壁を設け、該隔壁の外周部に外部からの操作による回転力を伝達する回転伝達部材を配置し、該隔壁の内周部に前記フイルターユニットを配置し、該回転伝達部材と該フイルターユニットは該隔壁を貫通する軸を有するギヤが少なくとも一つ設けたギヤ列によって回転伝達可能に結合されていることにより、雨が降った際にも回転伝達部材から機器本体の内周側に容易に水が流入するがなくなる。また、本発明は該隔壁は凹部を有し、該凹部には該回転伝達部材が配置され、かつ該回転伝達部材の回転中心よりも光軸側に該凹部内から機器本体の外周部に貫通する穴が設けられていることにより、雨が降った際に、該凹部の穴により凹部に水をためることなく水を抜くことができるので、該回転伝達部材の軸部からの毛細管現象による水の流入を阻止できる。

図1は本実施例のフイルター操作装置の要部分解斜視図、図2はその平面図、図3はそのフイルター操作装置を光学機器としてのレンズ鏡筒に装着した状態の図2のX−X線断面図である。
図において、11は環状のフイルターホルダー本体で、その外周部には後記する操作ダイヤル12が挿入される凹部11aが設けられ、その環状部には後記するフイルター枠13が回動可能に嵌合する嵌合部11bが設けられている。また、該フイルターホルダー本体11の凹部11a側には後記する操作ダイヤル軸17が圧入される穴11cと後記する連結ギヤ18の軸部18bが嵌合する穴11dと後記するビス20が締め込まれるビス穴11eと該穴11c及び11dより光軸側に該凹部11aからフイルターホルダー本体11の外周側に貫通する穴11fが、それぞれ設けられている。
