Claims (3)
- 巻線が装着された積層コアを有して構成されたステータと、
前記ステータに対して回転可能に設けられると共に、前記ステータを収容する有底筒状のロータハウジングを有して構成されたロータと、
前記ロータハウジングの底部と軸方向に対向する底部を有する有底筒状に構成され前記ロータハウジングに一体回転可能に連結されたファンボスを有すると共に、前記ファンボスの筒状部にブレードを備えて構成されたファンと、
を有して構成されたファンモータにおいて、
前記ロータハウジングの底部には、冷却孔が貫通形成され、
前記ファンボスの底部には、前記ロータハウジングの底部に向けて突出すると共に径方向内側から径方向外側へ向けて放射状に形成され、前記ファンボスの回転に伴って前記ロータハウジングの内部から前記冷却孔を介して前記ロータハウジングの外部に排出される冷却風流れを形成する複数のフィンが設けられ、
前記フィンは、その径方向内側部が径方向外側部と前記ファンボスの中心とを結ぶ仮想線よりも前記ファンボスの回転方向側に位置されるように構成され、
前記フィンには、突出側部が前記冷却孔内に配置されるか、又は、突出側部が前記冷却孔を介して前記ロータハウジング内に配置され、前記ファンボスの回転に伴って前記冷却風流れの形成を補助する補助フィンが設けられていることを特徴とするファンモータ。 - 前記補助フィンは、前記フィンの一部を他の部位よりも前記ファンボスの底部からの高さを高くしたことにより構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のファンモータ。
- 前記補助フィンの径方向外側部には、軸方向に沿って前記ファンボスの底部側へ向かうに従って径方向外側に向かう傾斜部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のファンモータ。
