【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、食品包装用のラップフィルムやアルミホイルなどを巻回した巻筒体の収納箱に関する。特に、巻筒体の引き出し易さと、飛び出し防止性能と、巻筒体の箱からの取り出し易さを調和させた巻筒体の収納箱に関する。

【従来の技術】
ラップフィルムやアルミホイルは芯体に巻回された巻筒体が箱に収納されており、使用時に必要量引き出すようになっている。その際、巻筒体が箱内で滑らかに回転しなかったり、引き出す力により箱外へ飛び出すことがあった。これらを防止する手段としては、例えば実開昭56−94721号公報は箱体の側面に芯管枢支片を形成し、箱体の両端から芯管枢支片を芯管内部へ押し込み、同時に固定片、受止片、制止片等の補助部材を用いることで芯管枢支片を固定し芯管が箱から飛び出すのを防止する方法が開示されている。又、実開昭60−57519号公報では、コア内部に押し込んだ抜け止め片を完全に固定することなくロール状物の飛び出しを防止する方法が開示されている。又、特開平10−338228号公報では、支持部材の寸法等を規定して、巻筒体が収納室から飛び出すのを防止すると共に、特に巻筒体の筒体径を小さくして長尺巻としたラップフィルムやアルミホイルが、使用と共に消費されて巻筒体の外径が底板の奥行き幅よりも十分に小さくなった時に発生し易い引き出し時の遊回動も防止する方法が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上記した実開昭56−94721号公報のように芯管枢支片が芯管内部に固定されている技術は、芯管の飛び出しを防止する効果は十分であるが、使用中のトラブル、例えばフィルムの先端部を見つけられなくなり、芯管を箱から取り出す必要が生じた時などは、非常に取り出し難く無理矢理取り出そうとした場合には芯管枢支片が破損するという問題がある。更に、芯管内壁に強固に芯管枢支片が接触しているため芯管を係止した状態でフィルムを引き出す際にそれが抵抗になり引き出すのに大きな力が必要になる。

又、実開昭60−57519号公報のように抜け止め片が固定されていない技術のものは、ロール状物の取り出し時に抜け止め片が破損する問題はほとんど発生しないが、押し込んだ抜け止め片に強度がないため勢い良く引き出した時には抜け止め片が脇板に対し90度以上折れ曲がり、ロール状物の飛び出しを十分に防止できないという問題がある。
又、特開平10−338228号公報の技術では、筒体内径と支持部材の最大幅の比率が1に近いため、飛び出し防止能力と遊回動防止能力は高いが、使用中のトラブル時等に巻筒体を抜き出すのに大きな力が必要になる。
本発明は、このような従来の巻筒体の飛び出しを防止する手段が抱えている問題、つまり巻筒体の飛び出し防止性能と、巻筒体の箱からの取り出し易さを調和させた上で引き出し性にも問題が無く、外観に破損が無い巻筒体の収納箱を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者らは、上記課題を達成するために鋭意検討した結果、本発明をなすに至った。すなわち本発明は以下の通りである。
前板1、底板2、後板3、及び脇板8、補助脇板9、9′の各面で形成される上部が開口した収納室12と、その収納室12の後板3の上端縁から開閉可能で収納室12を覆う方向に連接した蓋板4と、その蓋板4の前端縁から前板1を覆う方向に延出した掩蓋片5と、掩蓋片脇板10、掩蓋片補助脇板11の各面で形成される蓋体13からなる直方体の箱体と、上記収納室12に収納される巻筒体Rからなり、補助脇板9には折り線gを介して巻筒体Rの内部へ挿入可能で巻筒体Rを支持するための舌片状の支持部材15′が形成され、脇板8には折り線g又は半切れ線g1を介して収納室内部へ押し込み可能で支持部材15′を巻筒体Rの内部へ挿入させるための窓15が形成された巻筒体収納箱において、底板2の奥行き幅がWa、後板3の幅がWb、芯体R1の幅と内径と厚みが各々WcとDとt、支持部材15′の折り線幅と最大幅が各々SとL、窓15の最大高さがH1とした時に、次の1〜4式の条件を満たす巻筒体収納箱。

本発明が従来技術と最も相違するところは、従来技術が各種の形状の支持部材を箱体の両端から芯体の内部に、単に押し込むだけか予め押し込んだ状態で固定するものであるのに対し、本発明は、(1)底板2の奥行き幅Waに対する芯体R1の外径(D+2t)の範囲、(2)芯体R1の内径Dに対する支持部材15′の最大幅Lの比率の範囲、(3)支持部材15′の最大幅Lに対する折り線幅Sの比率の範囲、(4)巻筒体Rを収納室に収納した場合の長手幅方向の隙間(Wb−Wc)に対する窓15の最大高さH1の範囲を特定したことである。

上記従来技術と相違するところの本発明の構成要件の役割は、巻筒体の飛び出し防止能力と収納箱からの取り出し易さを調和させた上で引き出し性にも問題が無く、外観に破損が無い巻筒体の収納箱を提供することである。
以下、図を用いて本発明を更に詳細に説明する。図1は本発明による巻筒体収納箱の支持部材15′が巻筒体Rの内部に押し込まれた状態を示す立体模式図の一例である。図2は図1に示した巻筒体収納箱の展開図である。図3は収納室12に巻筒体Rを入れてフィルムFを引き出した状態を上から見た模式図である。図4は芯体R1と支持部材15′の関係を示す断面図である。図5は支持部材15′の別の形状を示した一例である。本発明において最大幅Lとは収納箱の高さ方向と直交する方向の支持部材15′の最大寸法を示し、最大高さH1とは収納箱の高さ方向での窓15の最大寸法を示す。

本発明の一例を示す図1において、収納箱は前板1、底板2、後板3、及び脇板8、補助脇板9、9′の各面で形成される上部が開口した収納室12と、その収納室12の後板3の上端縁から開閉可能で収納室12を覆う方向に連接した蓋板4と、その蓋板4の前端縁から前板1を覆う方向に延出した掩蓋片5と、掩蓋片脇板10、掩蓋片補助脇板11の各面で形成される蓋体13からなる直方体の箱体である。尚、図1、図2、図4には前板1の上端縁に縁折り片7を設けて図1では折り曲げた状態を示しているが、この縁折り片7は設けなくても良いし、或いは180度折り曲げて前板1の裏面と接着させても構わない。

この収納箱には、フィルムFを切断するための切断具Kが配備され、収納室12に収納された巻筒体Rから必要量フィルムを引き出し切断して使用される。切断具の形状は、直線状、V状等、材質も金属、バルカナイズドファイバー等従来公知のものであれば特に制限はない。又、切断具が配備されている部位は、図1に示す掩蓋片5の先端縁部、前板1の上端縁部、底板と前板の間の稜線部いずれでも構わない。
本発明の巻筒体収納箱において、底板2の奥行き幅Waに対する芯体R1の外径(D+2t)の範囲は、0.82Wa<(D+2t)<Wa(1式)である。(D+2t)≦0.82Waの場合は底板2の奥行き幅Waに対して芯体R1の外径(D+2t)が小さいので、フィルム等が使用と共に消費されて巻筒体が細くなった時に巻筒体が収納室で遊回動を発生し易く使い勝手が悪くなる。(D+2t)≧Waの場合は巻筒体を収納室に収納することができない。

本発明の支持部材15′は折り線gを介して脇板上辺とほぼ平行に設けられており、その最大幅Lと芯体R1の内径Dの関係は0.4≦L/D≦0.7(2式)である。図1に示したようにこの範囲にある支持部材15′が芯体R1の内部に挿入された場合は、使用者がフィルムを引き出した時に巻筒体が箱外に飛び出す現象を防止することができると同時に、使用者が何らかの理由で収納室から巻筒体を取り出そうとする操作に過剰な力が不要であり、支持部材の破損も発生しない。これは、巻筒体の飛び出し防止性能と取り出し易さが支持部材15′の最大幅Lと芯体R1の内径Dとの関係に大きく依存しており、その関係が0.4≦L/D≦0.7の場合に巻筒体の飛び出し防止性能と取り出し易さが最も調和されるためである。

L/D<0.4の場合は、芯体の内径Dに対して支持部材の最大幅Lが小さいため、巻筒体を取り出し易いが、フィルムの引き出し時に巻筒体が飛び出し易くなる問題がある。また、L/D>0.7の場合は、芯体の内径Dに対して支持部材の最大幅Lが大きいため、フィルムの引き出し時に巻筒体は飛び出し難いが、巻筒体が取り出し難くなる問題がある。尚、最大幅Lは図2のように折り線gから離れていても、図5(b)のように重なっていても構わないが、最大幅Lの配置は折り線gからWb−Wc以上離れた所に設けることにより、一般的に使用されている紙製芯体の内部端にある凹凸と支持部材15′の端面が接触することがなくなり、巻筒体が抵抗なく回転するのでが好ましい。

更に、支持部材の最大幅Lと直交する最大高さHについては特に規定しないが、支持部材の最大高さHは0.6L≦H≦Lの範囲とすると、支持部材と芯体内部との引っ掛かり具合が十分となるので、フィルムの引き出し時に巻筒体が飛び出しにくくなる上、支持部材を押し込んだ時に支持部材の下端と芯体端が接触することがなく、芯体空間内への押し込みがスムーズとなる点で好ましい。また、上述の条件を満たす限り、支持部材の形状は曲線の組み合わせ型、半円型、台形、矢印型等の任意の形状で構わない。

次に、支持部材15′の最大幅Lと折り線幅Sの関係は0.5≦S/L≦1(3式)である。これは巻筒体の飛び出し防止性能と取り出し易さの調和が支持部材の最大幅Lと芯体の内径Dの関係(2式)と共に、最大幅Lと折り線幅Sの関係にも依存していることを示している。S/L<0.5の場合は最大幅Lに対して折り線幅Sが小さいので巻筒体の取り出し易さには問題がないが、飛び出し防止能力が不十分となる。また、本発明の巻筒体収納箱では支持部材15′の最大幅をLと定義しているので、S/L>1となることはない。
次に、窓15の最大高さH1と後板3の幅Wbと芯体R1の幅Wcの関係は(Wb−Wc)≦H1≦2(Wb−Wc)(4式)である。これは図3で示したように、収納室12に巻筒体Rを収納した場合の幅方向の隙間と窓5の最大高さH1の関係を示している。H1がこの範囲にあるものは、収納箱の外観と巻筒体の取り出し易さが調和している。

H1<(Wb−Wc)の場合は、巻筒体を収納室から取り出す時に窓15が芯体内部に引っ掛かからないので巻筒体の取り出し易さを阻害することはないが、H1が小さいため生産時にピン等で窓を綺麗に押し込むことが困難で、窓自体がちぎれたり脇板8の窓周辺に破れ等を発生して収納箱の外観が著しく低下する可能性がある。また、H1>2(Wb−Wc)の場合は、生産時にピン等で窓15を押し込んでも外観に問題はないが、H1が大きいため巻筒体を取り出す時に窓15自体が芯体内部に引っ掛かって巻筒体の取り出し易さが阻害される。尚、窓15の最大幅L1と窓15自体の配置位置と形状については特に規定しないが、図4に示したようにL1については生産時にピン等で押し込んだ場合に外観悪化を生じない程度に大きく、図4に示したように収納箱を組み立てた時に窓15全体が支持部材15′の範囲内に収まる程度に小さい長さとすれば良い。配置位置についても図4に示したように、収納箱を組み立てた時に底板2端部から窓15の折り線g又は半切れ線g1までの長さと底板2端部から支持部材15′の折り線gまでの長さがほぼ同じとなるように配置させる事が好ましい。形状については上述した条件を満たせば任意の形状で構わないが、四角形型が好ましい。

本発明の収納箱に使用される材質としては、板紙、各種ダンボール、プラスチックス等特に制限はないが、一般的には厚さ0.35mm〜1.5mmの板紙が使用される。本発明の収納箱に収納される巻筒体に巻き回されるフィルムは、各種樹脂製のラップフィルム、アルミホイル、クッキングペーパー等特に制限はないが、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ポリエチレン等のラップフィルムが特に好ましい。
次に、本発明で用いる評価の方法と尺度について以下に示す。

《引き出し性》図1のような収納箱へ芯体に塩化ビニリデンフィルム(商品名:サランラップ、旭化成(株)社製)が20m巻かれた巻筒体を収納し、脇板8に設けた窓15を介して補助脇板9に設けた支持部材15′を巻筒体内部まで押しこんだ。この巻筒体収納箱を女性モニター10人に渡し、各人が1回につき約30cmフィルムを引き出してカットする操作をフィルムが無くなるまで行った。フィルムの引き出しが最後までスムーズに行えたと回答したモニターが10人の場合を○(優れた引き出し性)、7〜9人の場合を△(実用性はあるが不採用)、6人以下の場合を×(実用不可能)とした。

《飛び出し防止性》引き出し性のモニター中に巻筒体が飛び出した回数を数えた。飛び出した回数がゼロと回答したモニターが10人の場合を○(優れた飛び出し防止性)とし、1回以上飛び出したと回答したモニターが3人未満の場合を△(実用性はあるが不採用)、3人以上の場合を×(実用不可能)とした。
《取り出し性》引き出し性の評価と同様に巻筒体収納箱を用意し、各モニターが収納箱内の巻筒体の中央部を掴んで箱から取り出す場合において、支持部材15′が破損することなく容易に巻筒体を取り出せたと回答したモニターが10人の場合を○(優れた取り出し性)、支持部材15′が破損したり大きな抵抗が生じたと回答したモニターが1人以上の場合を×(実用不可能)とした。

実施例に供する収納箱の基本構造(飛び出し防止用の支持部材15′と押し込み用の窓15は除く)は図1に示すものと同じ、つまり厚み約0.55mm、坪量450g/m2のコートボール紙(商品名:ジェットスター(9号)、大昭和製紙(株)製)を用いて前板1、底板2、後板3、脇板8と補助脇板9、9′の各面で形成される上部が開口した高さ46mm、底板の奥行き幅Waが46mm、後板3の幅Wbが311mmの収納室12と、その収納室12の後板の上端縁から開閉可能で収納室12を覆う方向に連接した掩蓋片5と掩蓋片脇板10、掩蓋片補助脇板11の各面で形成された蓋体13からなる直方体の箱体であり、収納室に収納した巻筒体(芯体の幅Wcが307mmで、厚みtが1.5mmのもの)からラップフィルムを必要量引き出し、切断して用いる巻筒体収納箱である。
