Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a chain stitch (referred to as a chain stitch in the present specification) which is selectively connected to a cloth using a plurality of kinds of yarns. The present invention relates to a method for sewing the end point and the start point of a different kind of thread in a chain sewing method that performs the sewing. 2. Description of the Related Art A bed, sewing needles vertically movable above the bed, and a plurality of loopers disposed below the bed so as to be interchangeable for selective use. 2. Description of the Related Art A chain stitch sewing machine having a structure including a thread cutting device disposed below a bed for cutting a thread between a bed and a looper is known (for example, see Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-11239). With such a sewing machine, after finishing sewing with one color thread,
Then, by cutting the thread and replacing the looper, sewing with another color thread can be performed subsequently. [0003] However, in the case of chain stitching, when one color thread is used for sewing, a thread stop must be applied at the end point to prevent the thread from coming off the cloth. There was no hassle. When starting sewing using another color thread,
Since the starting point needle is inserted in an adjacent position near the end point where the thread stop is to be applied, a slight blank portion of the thread is generated between the end point and the starting point, causing a problem in aesthetic sense. The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems (technical problems) of the prior art. In the case where chain sewing is successively performed on a cloth surface using a plurality of types of yarns, different types of yarns are used. By providing the connection between the sewing end point of the thread and the sewing start point of each thread, it is possible to prevent a lack of beauty when a pattern is displayed using a plurality of types of threads, and also to provide a thread at the sewing end point of each thread. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method of sewing the end point and the starting point of different kinds of yarns in a chain sewing method that enables the omission of a stop. [0006] In the chain sewing method according to the present invention, an end point and a start point of different kinds of thread are sewn by rotating a looper provided below the bed and a hook provided above the bed. With the vertical movement of the hook, the thread of the hook is used to pull up the thread from the looper to the upper surface of the cloth in an annular manner, and in this state, the cloth is moved by one glance to pull the next sewing thread into the annular thread loop. In the method of performing chain stitching on the cloth on the bed by repeatedly performing the above, at the end point position where the chain stitching using one color thread is completed, the color thread is placed at a position above the needle hole on the upper surface of the cloth. Forming an annular portion by using it, cutting the thread between the needle hole and the looper below the bed, and pulling out the thread end of the side connected to the cloth upward through the needle hole. Do
When starting to sew the next different kind of thread, the hook needle is directed to the looper in a state of penetrating the inside of the above-mentioned annular portion located above the needle hole, and another kind of thread is pulled up from the looper through the inside of the annular portion, Next, the cloth is moved to the second stitch, and the cloth is further moved to sew the third stitch so as to sew in the state where the annular portion of the next different thread is connected to the annular portion of the previous color thread. It was done. When the chain stitch by one color thread is completed, an annular portion of the thread is formed at the end point. Next, a looper provided with another type of color thread is positioned at the needle drop position in exchange for the former looper. Next, when lowering the first needle, the first needle is lowered while penetrating the inside of the annular portion formed by the color thread at the end point to reach the looper. After that, pull the color thread from the looper as usual, move the cloth,
The second stitch, the third stitch,... Thereby, the thread of the annular portion is pressed by another thread of the next first and second stitches, and is sewn to the cloth. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Reference numerals 1 to 15 denote members of a known chain stitch sewing machine. Reference numeral 1 denotes a bed which is attached to a base frame of the sewing machine. It is composed of a plate 1 'and a needle plate. The needle plate is attached to the bed plate 1 'with a set screw 3. 4
Indicates a needle hole, and 5 indicates a threading hole. 4a is a needle hole having a different diameter, and 5a is a threading hole provided corresponding to the needle hole. These needle holes are rotated by 180 degrees when the needle plate 2 is viewed in a plane, so that the needle hole 4 and the threading hole 5 are formed. Is used in exchange for them at the location where they were. 6 is a lid for closing a maintenance hole formed in the bed plate,
It is attached with a fixing screw 7. Reference numeral 8 denotes a needle for sewing, which is movable up and down, and has a hook 9. Numeral 11 denotes a looper base, which is provided so as to be freely movable in a lateral direction with respect to a base frame of the sewing machine. Reference numerals 12, 12,... Denote a plurality of loopers mounted on the looper base 11, which are exchangeably arranged immediately below the needle holes 4 by lateral movement of the looper base 11. Each looper is loaded with a different type of thread (eg, color, thickness, nature, etc.). Reference numeral 13 denotes a driving rod for driving the looper table 11 in the horizontal direction. Reference numeral 15 denotes a yarn cutting device provided below the needle plate 2, and a movable member for drawing in the yarn advances and retreats to a position between the needle hole 4 and the looper 12 as shown by arrows 15a and 15b to cut the yarn. It has become. Next, 17 is a recess for accommodating the wiping member formed on the upper surface of the bed plate 1 ', and 18 is a bearing hole formed in the bed plate 1'. Reference numerals 19 and 20 are guide pieces attached to the bed plate 1 ', and their upper surfaces are arc-shaped guide surfaces 19a and 20a as shown in FIGS. 7 and 6, respectively.
Reference numeral 21 denotes a wiping member, which is capable of laterally moving along the upper surface of the needle plate 2, for example, in the present example, is configured to make an arc movement along the upper surface of the needle plate 2 around a shaft body 22 provided at the base. . A parallel movement may be made along the upper surface of the needle plate 2. The shaft body 22 is supported by the bearing hole 18 so as to be able to rotate and move back and forth in the axial direction. Reference numeral 23 shown in FIG. 4 denotes an urging member for urging the wiping member 21 toward the bed plate 1 ', for example, a spring for urging downward in this example, and a spring receiving member constituted by a part of the bed plate 1'. Spring seat 25 attached to part 24 and shaft 22
Interposed between 26 is a passive lever fixed to the shaft 22. Reference numeral 27 denotes a fitting hole formed at a position corresponding to the guide piece 20. Next, the reference numeral 30 shown in FIG. 31 is a motor in the mechanism, 32 is a cam, and has a cam groove 32a around it. Reference numeral 33 denotes a drive lever, which is rotatably supported at an intermediate portion 33c, and has a follower provided at one end.
33a is engaged with the cam groove 32a, and an engagement piece 33b provided at the other end is provided.
Is engaged with an engagement hole 26a provided in the passive lever 26.
In the drive mechanism 30, the cam member 32 makes one rotation of the cam 32 by the motor 31 so that the drive member 33 and the
Makes one reciprocation in the direction of the arrow. In the above-mentioned construction, the looper 12 and the needle 8 operate in a known manner, and the sewing to the cloth 35 is performed by the thread 36 supplied through the looper 12, as shown in FIG. Was done. That is, the needle 8 descends from the top dead center through the needle hole 4 to the bottom dead center, and then the looper 12 rotates and the thread hooks on the hook 9, and then the needle 8 moves toward the top dead center. Ascending, the yarn was pulled up. After the thread is pulled up, the upholstery frame holding the cloth 35 is laterally moved on the bed plate 1 'by the size of one stitch, and the cloth 35 is laterally moved by the same dimension. Such an operation is repeatedly performed to perform the chain stitching 36b (see FIG. 8A). Next, after finishing the sewing with one color thread,
Subsequently, the operation in the case of performing sewing with the next different type of thread is as follows. At the end point of sewing with one thread,
The needle 8 moves toward the top dead center as shown in FIG. 7A without laterally moving the embroidery frame. Thereafter, the movable portion of the yarn cutting device 15 reciprocates as shown by arrows 15a and 15b, and cuts the yarn 36 located between the needle hole 4 and the looper 12. Next, the wiping member 21 is reciprocated by the driving mechanism 30 as described above. In this case, in the process of the forward movement, first, FIG.
And the guide surfaces 19 of the guide pieces 19 and 20 from the state of FIG.
Guided by a and 20a, the wiping member 21 is lifted as shown in FIGS. 6 (B) and 7 (B). Subsequently, the wiping member 21 moves laterally along a position overlapping with the needle hole 4 along the upper surface of the needle plate 2 as indicated by an arrow 37 in FIG. Due to this lateral movement, of the cut yarns 36a, the yarn connected to the cloth 35, that is, the yarn 36a remaining in the needle hole 4 as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2), the cloth 35 is pulled out from the needle hole 4 and is placed along the lower surface of the cloth 35. The post-payment member 21 then moves back and returns to the position in the recess 17. Then, the lateral movement of the cloth 35 is performed by the lateral movement of the embroidery frame (see FIG. 8A). In parallel with the above, that is, after the yarn is cut by the yarn cutting device 15 and before or after the horizontal movement of the cloth, the horizontal movement of the looper table 11 causes the looper table 11 to move immediately below the needle hole 4. A looper 12 'is then provided which is loaded with another type of thread to be used for sewing. Thereafter, the same operation as described above, that is, the vertical movement of the needle 8 and the looper
By the operation of 12 ', sewing with another type of thread is performed. Even if the thread 36a is returned to the side of the needle hole 4 at the time of the returning movement of the wiping member 21, the thread 36a does not enter the inside of the needle hole 4, so that the sewing with the next thread is performed. The possibility that the thread 36a is accidentally caught on the needle 8 is small. Further, as shown in FIGS. 7 (C) and 8 (A), the thread end of the cut thread 36a remains under the cloth as a treatment. However, if desired, as shown in FIG. 8D, another extra needle may be inserted and the thread end 36a may be pulled up on the cloth. Next, a description will be given of FIGS. 8B and 8C in the case of sewing using the other type of thread 136. FIG. Previous thread 36
The needle 8 is detached from the annular portion 36c according to the state shown in FIG. At the start of sewing the next color thread, the hook 8 is moved toward the looper 12 'while passing through the annular portion 36c located above the needle hole 4 as shown in FIG. Then, another thread 136 is pulled up through the inside of its annular portion, and while the thread end is located under the cloth as shown in the figure, the cloth is sequentially moved in the direction of arrow 37 while the second stitch as shown in FIG. Third
Stitch the stitches. This sewing progress is performed on the annular portion 36c.
An annular portion 136b formed by another thread 136b is continuously sewn in a continuous state, and the annular portion 136b formed by another thread between the first stitch and the second stitch as shown in FIG. 8C. Cloth 3 at part 136b
5, the thread 36 of the previous thread 36 is prevented from coming off. When all sewing on the cloth is completed, the cloth 35
Is removed from the embroidery frame and ends. However, if necessary, a well-known process for preventing the yarn end from unraveling on the back side of the cloth (the lower side), for example, in the area where the sewing (embroidery) is performed on the cloth Processing such as applying a small amount of glue to the back surface, sewing the cloth 35 on another cloth, and wrapping a thread end on the back surface of the cloth is performed. As described above, according to the present invention, in the case where chain sewing is successively performed on a cloth surface using a plurality of kinds of yarns as described above, the chain sewing using the previous yarn is performed. At the end point, the thread 36c between the needle hole and the looper is cut below the bed, and the thread end 36a on the side connected to the cloth thereof is cut.
Can be completed only by pulling out the needle from the needle hole upward, and there is an epoch-making effect that labor can be omitted because extra thread fastening work is not required to prevent thread coming off. Further, in the present invention, when starting sewing using the different kind of thread 136, the thread 36c between the needle hole and the looper is cut below the bed at the end point of the chain sewing by the previous thread, and Since the yarn end 36a on the side connected to the cloth is drawn upward through the needle hole, the
In order to sew the annular portion 136b of the next heterogeneous thread to the continuous state with respect to 36c, the hook needle is directed to the looper while penetrating through the annular portion 36c of the previous thread located at the needle hole upper position. Even if the chain sewing method of pulling another kind of thread from the looper through the annular portion is used, the thread 36
There is no danger of a being pulled up together with another kind of different kind of thread 136 from the looper, and there is an effect that the sewing can proceed with the second and third stitches very naturally. In addition, in the present invention, when starting to sew different kinds of thread,
The hook needle is directed toward the looper while penetrating the annular portion located above the needle hole, another kind of thread is pulled up from the looper through the annular portion, and the second and third stitches are sewn forward. In this method, the annular portion of the next heterogeneous yarn is sewn so as to be continuous with the annular portion of the next heterogeneous yarn. A method of performing chain stitching on the cloth on the bed by repeatedly pulling up the cloth on the upper surface side, and moving the cloth by one glance in this state and pulling up the next sewing thread within the circular thread loop. At the end point where chain sewing using one color thread has been completed, an annular portion is formed using the color thread at a position above the needle hole on the upper surface of the cloth, and the needle hole is formed below the bed. The thread between the looper and the looper is cut off, and the thread end on the side connected to the cloth is pulled out from the needle hole upward. Penetrating through the annular part in the position In this state, the hook is moved toward the looper, another kind of thread is pulled up from the looper through the annular portion, and then the cloth is moved to the second needle, and then the cloth is moved to the third position.
An end point of a different kind of thread in a chain stitching method, characterized in that sewing is performed in such a manner that the next different kind of thread is joined to an annular part of the previous color thread by continuing the stitches.
