For example, hair cosmetics such as hair treatments and hair rinses are blended with moisturizing ingredients such as polyhydric alcohols such as pyrrolidone carboxylate and glycerin, hyaluronic acid, protein derivatives, urea, and higher alcohols, petrolatum, animal and vegetable oils and fats. However, if the oil is used to increase the water content of the hair, it may cause inconvenience such as a feeling of use.

目的とする。Studies have been made on humectants. For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 55-149369 discloses that
It has been disclosed that a wetting agent composition of -pyrrolidone-5-carboxylic acid exhibits an excellent moisturizing effect.
JP-A-6-71020 discloses that 2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxylic acid basic amino acid can be added to cosmetics for the purpose of enhancing moisture retention. However, the moisturizing component originally has poor affinity for the hair, and almost no effect can be expected particularly in a preparation used after washing, such as a hair rinse. Therefore, the development of a hair cosmetic that retains a suitable amount of moisture in the hair even when washed out and imparts a smooth and excellent feel is desired. In view of such circumstances, it is an object of the present invention to provide a hair cosmetic that retains an appropriate amount of moisture in hair even when washed out, and is excellent in feel.
