Description of the Related Art In recent years, the accuracy of copying machines has been remarkably improved, and in particular, the spread of electrophotographic color copying machines has facilitated forgery of various securities and has become a social problem. To prevent this, various anti-counterfeiting means have been considered, but one of them is to utilize the fact that current copiers cannot reproduce brilliant ones, for example, metallic colors or interference colors. There is something.

もある。For example, as proposed in Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 58-168754, a luminous plate such as an aluminum foil having a remarkable metallic color is provided on the upper surface of a base paper, and a character pattern is formed on the luminous plate surface. There is a proposal for paper that cannot be copied by the machine.
When this is copied, the character pattern applied to the paper surface becomes unreadable because the foil surface is darkened and copied when light is irradiated from the copying machine. This sheet has the advantage that copying itself cannot be performed (the copy cannot be read), but has the disadvantage that the metallic color is emphasized too much because the area of the glittering plate occupying the sheet is so uncomfortable. In addition, there are other problems, such as a complicated paper manufacturing process, which inevitably increases the cost, and difficulty in recovering papermaking fibers from waste paper.

We considered making it into paper. Since the paper produced in this manner cannot reproduce the metallic glitter in a color copying machine, the portion where the strips are mixed is simply copied in black, which proves to have a forgery preventing ability. However, it was found that in the paper manufactured in this manner, the strip did not adhere firmly to the paper, and the strip was dropped during printing, causing a serious problem.

No. 27666, etc. can be used. Some pearl pigments emit an iris color and are characterized by a change in hue depending on the viewing angle. As the pearl pigment used in the present invention, it is particularly preferable to use a pearl pigment that emits this iris color. This is because the forgery-preventing ability is improved and the design effect is enhanced by forming threads that emit different iris colors into the base paper.

Preferable examples of the binder having such properties include polyvinyl alcohol. Polyvinyl alcohol can be synthesized by changing the degree of polymerization and the degree of saponification, and can change the dissolution temperature in water. As will be described in detail later, a thread manufactured using such a binder does not elute the binder from the thread in the wet part of the papermaking process, but elutes due to the heat of the dry part, and has a property to adhere to the paper. .

A coating solution mixed with 0 parts by weight is prepared. At this time, defoamer,
Supplementary materials such as preservatives, fungicides, and viscosity modifiers may be appropriately mixed to such an extent that the present invention is not impaired. The coating solution thus prepared is applied to a base paper having a basis weight of 20 to 100 g / m 2 (dry weight, the same applies hereinafter), preferably 30 to 50 g / m 2, preferably 2 to 10 g / m 2, preferably 3 to 5 g / m 2. Apply m2. It is preferable that the base paper has excellent surface smoothness as much as possible in order to bring out the glitter of the pearl pigment. A white pigment coated paper having excellent water resistance is a preferred example, but as a result of studies by the present inventors, it has been confirmed that the object of the present invention can be sufficiently achieved even with high quality paper. The base paper preferably has a certain degree of size in order to prevent the penetration of the coating liquid, and preferably has a wet waterproof strength.

Further, a fluorescing agent which emits a fluorescent color by ultraviolet rays can be used in combination with the pearl pigment coating liquid. In these cases, it is preferable that the base paper does not use a fluorescent coloring agent that emits a fluorescent color. By doing so, the thread emits a fluorescent color when irradiated with ultraviolet rays, but when viewed under a normal light source, the appearance is almost the same as when the fluorescent colorant is not used. By doing so, the forgery prevention performance of the paper can be further improved. By irradiating the paper with ultraviolet light, the thread emits a fluorescent color, and the authenticity can be easily determined.

It is well known in foreign countries that this technology is applied to banknotes to enhance their anti-counterfeiting performance. In the present invention, unlike the conventional thread-filled paper, the thread needs to be formed on at least one surface of the base paper when forming the base paper. For example, the thread is formed by the following method. In the present invention, "making in" refers to a state in which a thread is exposed on the surface of the base paper or a part of the base material is covered with the stock. In the present invention, it is necessary that the pearl brilliant color of the thread is ground in such a state that it can be visually recognized. 1) Immediately after slicing the fourdrinier, the thread is unreeled from the bobbin, placed on a paper web, and laid on the surface. 2) After forming a web with a fourdrinier or a round net, a thread is unwound from a bobbin onto a press roll, and the thread is formed on the surface of the web. 3) The thread is fed from the bobbin onto the cylinder after the paper layer of the bat of the round paper machine is formed, and is made into paper.

A pigment coating layer having good printability can be provided on the surface opposite to the surface into which the thread is formed. In this way, anti-counterfeit paper capable of high-level multicolor printing can be obtained. In order to improve the printability of paper, it is known to provide a pigment coating layer mainly composed of a white pigment such as kaolin or calcium carbonate and a binder on the surface. Have been. Any of these known formulations can be used for the pigment coating layer of the present invention. For example, a white pigment such as kaolin or calcium carbonate is dispersed in water, and a binder such as starch, casein, or synthetic rubber latex and, if necessary, an auxiliary material for coating are appropriately used, and a blade coater or an air knife is used. Using a known coating machine such as a coater, coating is usually performed at 5 to 25 g / m 2, and a super calender treatment is performed.

The production of the anti-counterfeit paper of the configuration of the present invention requires a high level of technology, and the glitter and texture of the thread cannot be obtained by other means. When a printed material is manufactured using the anti-counterfeit paper of the present invention, when printing is performed on the surface of the thread, it is preferable that at least a part of the thread is printed with a pattern that is not printed. This is because when printed on the surface of the thread, the glitter of the pearl pigment tends to be lost, and the forgery prevention effect is reduced.

Reference numeral 21 denotes a printed portion, in which a white portion 22 (a portion not subjected to printing) is formed, and a perforation 23 is provided. Since the thread of the printing portion 21 is covered with ink, the pearlescent color is considerably lost, but is clearly visible in the white portion.
When this ticket is copied by a color copier, the hue of the printed portion is reproduced, but the pearlescent color of the white portion is not reproduced at all. Therefore, even if an attempt is made to enter using a ticket forged by a color copying machine, the authenticity of the ticket is easily determined.

It was presumed to be due to the following. The pearl pigment is composed of particles having a plate-like crystal structure, and the pearl brilliant color is generated by multiple reflection of light incident from the surface, and has a gentle brilliant feeling instead of a brilliant brilliant like a metal-deposited surface. The color copying machine employs a method in which irradiation light is incident on a document at about 45 degrees, and the photosensitive drum is exposed with reflected light at about 90 degrees. At this angle the pearlescent color is almost lost and the pearl pigment color is not reproduced in the copy.

When 5 parts by weight of paper, 95 parts by weight of water (that is, pulp concentration: 5%), and caustic soda were charged into the pulper at a ratio of 0.1 part by weight, and rotated while blowing live steam, the temperature was raised to 60 ° C. Completely disintegrated. The pearl pigment is finely divided and completely dispersed in the pulp, and the content thereof is extremely small. Therefore, even if the recovered pulp is used for papermaking, this effect was not recognized at all.

When printing is performed on the surface, the problem of the thread falling off during printing does not occur. 5) Papermaking fibers can be easily recovered from waste paper and waste paper. 6) Forgery prevention paper having a configuration in which a pigment coating layer having good printability is provided on one side enables high-grade multicolor printing. 7) By taking advantage of such characteristics, the anti-counterfeit paper of the present invention can be suitably used for check paper, stock paper, bond paper, bill paper, gift certificate paper, passport paper, various ticket papers, boarding tickets, and the like.
