Claims (15)
- 第1ハウジング、第1電極端子及び前記第1ハウジングから延びた第2電極端子を含む第1電池セルと、
前記第1電池セルの第1ハウジングに対向して位置する冷却フィンであって、前記冷却フィンが、縦軸に沿って延びている実質的に長方形状のプレートを有しており、前記実質的に長方形状のプレートが、第1面及び第2面を有するプレート部を含んでおり、前記第1面が、複数の第1湾入部位及び複数の第1扁平部位を有しており、前記複数の第1湾入部位のそれぞれが、縦軸に沿って複数の第1扁平部位のうち2つの扁平部位の間に位置しており、前記第1電池セルの第1ハウジングが、第1ハウジングが複数の第1扁平部位と接触するように第1面に対向して位置している構造の冷却フィンと、
を含むことを特徴とする、電池セルアセンブリ。 - 前記複数の第1湾入部位が、第1ハウジングが時間の経過と共に外側に膨張するにつれて、第1電池セルの第1ハウジングの部位を収容するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記複数の第1湾入部位のそれぞれの深さが、前記プレート部の厚さの1/2よりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記複数の第1湾入部位のそれぞれが、縦軸に実質的に垂直に延びており、プレート部の幅の少なくとも2/3を横切って延びていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 第2ハウジング、並びに前記第2ハウジングから延びた第1及び第2電極端子を有する第2電池セルと、
複数の第2湾入部位及び複数の第2扁平部位を含む第2面であって、前記複数の第2湾入部位のそれぞれが、縦軸に沿って複数の第2扁平部位のうち2つの扁平部位の間に位置しており、前記第2ハウジングが、第2ハウジングが複数の第2扁平部位と接触するように第2面に対向して位置している構造の第2面と、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。 - 前記複数の第2湾入部位が、第2ハウジングが時間の経過と共に外側に膨張するにつれて、第2電池セルの第2ハウジングの部位を収容するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記複数の第2湾入部位のそれぞれの深さが、プレート部の厚さの1/2よりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記複数の第2湾入部位のそれぞれが、縦軸に対して実質的に垂直に延びており、プレート部の幅の少なくとも2/3を横切って延びていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記複数の第1湾入部位のそれぞれが、複数の第2湾入部位のそれぞれの扁平部位に対向して位置していることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 第1及び第2長方形のリング状のフレーム部材をさらに含んでおり、前記第1及び第2長方形のリング状のフレーム部材の間に冷却フィンと第1及び第2電池セルとが位置していることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記実質的に長方形状のプレートが、プレート部に結合されており、それから延びている第1、第2、第3、及び第4外周エッジ部位をさらに含んでおり、前記冷却フィンが、第1、第2、第3、及び第4外周エッジ部位に結合されたチューブをさらに含んでおり、前記チューブが、内部流路を設定していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記実質的に長方形状のプレートの第1、第2、第3、及び第4外周エッジ部位が、チューブをその上に収容するように構成されたアーチ状のグルーブを設定していることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記チューブが、流入ポート、排出ポート、及び前記流入ポートと排出ポートとの間に位置する内部流路を含んでおり、前記冷却フィンが、流入ポートで2相冷却剤を受け入れるように構成されており、前記冷却フィンがまた、第1電池セルから熱エネルギーを受け取り、前記熱エネルギーを用いて内部流路内で2相冷却剤をガス状冷却剤に転換するようにさらに構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記実質的に長方形状のプレートがアルミニウムからなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
- 前記実質的に長方形状のプレートのプレート部が、第1電池セルの実質的に長方形側の全ての面を実質的に覆う大きさであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セルアセンブリ。
