Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve durability in a contact pin which is arranged between a first circuit board and a second circuit board and electrically connects the circuits of the respective circuit boards. <P>SOLUTION: A gap G is provided between a recess part 10 and the upper straight line portion 20B of a U-shape elastic body 20, and when the upper straight line portion 20B of the U-shape elastic body 20 is bent downward by an external force to push a contact terminal part 21 downward, the U-shape curved portion 20A of the U-shape elastic body 20 is rotated and lifted and escapes into the gap G. Thus, when the contact terminal part 21 is pushed downward by the external force, the synergistic effect of an action of the upper straight line portion 20B of the U-shape elastic body 20 bending downward and an action of the upper straight line portion 20B as a whole inclining downward makes the contact terminal part 21 sink downward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a contact pin that is disposed between a first circuit board and a second circuit board and electrically connects the circuits of the respective circuit boards, and in particular, to improve the durability thereof. It is.

Some mobile phones have a sub-board in addition to the main board, and contact pins P as shown in FIGS. 6 (a) and 6 (b) are used as means for electrically connecting the circuits of both boards. Used.

6A and 6B includes a case 1 attached to the main board (first circuit board CB1) and a pin body 2 attached to the case 1, and the case 1 includes a pin 1 A recess 10 for mounting the main body 2 is provided. The pin body 2 includes a U-shaped elastic body 20, a contact terminal portion 21, and a lead terminal portion 22.

In the pin body 2, the U-shaped elastic body 20 is formed in a U shape by a U-shaped curved portion 20 </ b> A and upper and lower straight portions 20 </ b> B and 20 </ b> C, and is inserted into the concave portion 10 of the case 1. The contact terminal portion 21 is provided at the end of the upper straight portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20, protrudes upward from the notch 11 on the upper surface of the case 1, and extends to the circuit land Rn of the sub-board (second circuit board CB2). Contact. The lead terminal portion 22 is provided at the end of the lower straight portion 20C of the U-shaped elastic body 20, and is connected to the circuit land Rn of the main substrate (first circuit substrate CB1) by soldering.

When the contact pin P having the above-described configuration is mounted on the mobile phone, the lead terminal portion 22 of the contact pin P is soldered to the land Rn of the main board (first circuit board CB1) as shown in FIG. Next, the sub board (second circuit board CB2) is placed on the main board (first circuit board CB1) from above the contact pin P, and the land Rn of the sub board is connected to the contact terminal portion of the pin body 2 21 is contacted. Then, the second circuit board CB2 is pushed down to a position indicated by a two-dot broken line in FIG. 6 (b) with a predetermined force, and then the second circuit board CB2 is fixedly locked by a lock means (not shown) to thereby contact pins The implementation of P is complete.

However, according to the conventional contact pin P shown in FIGS. 6 (a) and 6 (b), the contact terminal portion 21 of the pin body 2 is pushed downward by the force of pushing down the second circuit board CB2 when mounted on the mobile phone. However, the entire upper straight portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20 is greatly bent by the external force that is pushed in. For this reason, in the endurance test in which the U-shaped elastic body 20 is repeatedly bent many times, the U-shaped elastic body 20 is easily damaged, and there is a problem in terms of durability.

In particular, since this type of contact pin P is formed in a small size for mounting on a mobile phone, the strength of the U-shaped elastic body 20 must be reduced, and it is difficult to clear the durability test. .

An example of a structure in which the entire upper straight portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20 is greatly bent like the conventional contact pin P described above is shown in FIGS. 47A, 47B, and 47C of Patent Document 1, for example. Yes.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a contact pin having excellent durability.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a contact pin that is disposed between a first circuit board and a second circuit board and electrically connects circuits of the respective circuit boards, The contact pin includes a case attached to the first circuit board and a pin body attached to the case, and the case has a recess for attaching the pin body, A U-shaped elastic body inserted into the recess and formed in a U shape by a U-shaped curved portion and upper and lower straight portions, and provided at an end of an upper straight portion of the U-shaped elastic body, A contact terminal portion that contacts a circuit land of the circuit board, and a lead terminal portion that is provided at an end of the lower linear portion of the U-shaped elastic body and is connected to the circuit land of the first circuit board And between the concave portion and the U-shaped elastic body Is provided with a gap, and when the upper straight portion of the U-shaped elastic body is bent downward by an external force that presses the contact terminal portion downward, the U-shaped curved portion of the U-shaped elastic body rotates. It is lifted and escapes into the gap.

In the present invention, when the contact terminal portion is pressed downward by the external force, the upper straight portion of the U-shaped elastic body bends downward, and the U-curved portion of the U-shaped elastic body rotates. The contact terminal portion sinks downward due to a synergistic effect with the action that the entire upper straight portion of the U-shaped elastic body is inclined downward by lifting and escaping into the gap.

In the present invention, the contact pin may include a plurality of the pin bodies, and the contact terminal portions of the plurality of pin bodies may be arranged in a staggered manner.

In the present invention, the first circuit board may be a main board of a mobile phone, and the second circuit board may be a sub-board of the same mobile phone.

In the present invention, as a specific configuration of the contact pin, as described above, a gap is provided between the concave portion and the U-shaped elastic body, and the U-shape is formed by an external force that presses the contact terminal portion downward. When the upper straight portion of the elastic body is bent downward, the U-shaped curved portion of the U-shaped elastic body rotates and lifts to escape into the gap. For this reason, when the contact terminal portion is pressed downward by the external force, the upper straight portion of the U-shaped elastic body bends downward, and the entire upper straight portion of the U-shaped elastic body tilts downward. Due to the synergistic effect, the contact terminal portion sinks downward. Therefore, in setting the amount of sinking of the contact terminal portion to the specified value, the amount of bending of the upper straight portion of the U-shaped elastic body can be greatly reduced, and U due to repeated bending of the upper straight portion of the U-shaped elastic body. The contact pin excellent in durability can be provided in that the breakage of the letter-shaped elastic body can be effectively prevented.

Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a mobile phone on which a contact pin according to an embodiment of the present invention is mounted. The first circuit board CB1 is a main board of the mobile phone T, and forms a main circuit of the mobile phone such as communication and GPS. The second circuit board CB2 is a sub-board of the cellular phone T and is formed with an antenna circuit for short-range wireless communication such as Bluetooth. The antenna circuit of such a sub-board (first circuit board CB1) and the transmission / reception circuit for short-range wireless communication of the main board (second circuit board CB2) are electrically connected by the contact pin P of the present invention. Thus, one short-range wireless communication circuit is configured.

<Detailed configuration of contact pin P>
2 is an explanatory view of the contact pin shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is an explanatory view of the case of the contact pin shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and FIG. 4 is an illustration of the pin body of the contact pin shown in FIGS. Explanatory drawing and FIG. 5 are operation | movement explanatory drawings of the contact pin shown in FIG.1 and FIG.2.

As shown in FIGS. 2A, 2 </ b> B, and 2 </ b> C, the contact pin P includes a case 1 attached to the first circuit board CB <b> 1 and a pin body 2 attached to the case 1. .

As shown in FIGS. 3A, 3 </ b> B, and 3 </ b> C, the case 1 has a total of four lateral recesses 10 for mounting the pin main body 2. These four recesses 10 are alternately provided by digging alternately from one side 1A of the case 1 and the opposite side (other side 1B), and one pin body 2 is provided in each recess 10 one by one. It is mounted (see FIG. 2). Thereby, in this contact pin P, the contact terminal part 21 mentioned later of the four pin main bodies 2 is arranged in zigzag form like FIG.

Further, on the upper surface of the case 1, a notch 11 communicating with each recess 10 is opened for each recess 10. Further, on the lower surface of the case 1, each recess 10 is provided with each recess 10. A locking hole 12 that communicates is established.

As shown in FIGS. 4A, 4B, and 4C, the pin body 2 is inserted into the recess 10 and is formed into a U shape by the U-shaped curved portion 20A and the upper and lower straight portions 20B and 20C. The formed U-shaped elastic body 20, the contact terminal portion 21 provided at the end of the upper straight portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20, and contacting the land Rn of the circuit of the second circuit board CB2, and the U-shaped elastic Provided at the end of the lower straight portion 20C of the body 20 is provided with a lead terminal portion 22 connected to the circuit land Rn of the first circuit board CB1 and a tongue piece 23 as a retaining means. Such a pin body 2 is produced by punching and bending a metal leaf spring material with a press molding machine.

The U-shaped elastic body 20 is formed such that the upper straight portion 20B is slightly opened outward and inclined, and the lower straight portion 20C is formed to be substantially horizontal (see FIG. 5A). .

The contact terminal portion 21 is bent and formed in an upwardly convex triangular shape from the end of the upper straight portion 20B, and protrudes upward from the notch 11 on the upper surface of the case 1 as shown in FIG. The second circuit board CB2 is configured to be in contact with the land Rn.

The lead terminal portion 22 goes down one step from the end of the lower straight portion 20C and projects horizontally to the outside of the case 1 and is soldered to the land Rn of the first circuit board CB1. This soldering includes (1) the role of electrically connecting the circuit of the first circuit board CB1 and the lead terminal portion 22, and (2) the entire contact pins P including the case 1 are connected to the main board (first board). It plays a role of mounting and fixing to the circuit board CB1).

The tongue piece 23 is formed downward from the lower straight portion 20C of the U-shaped elastic body 20 and enters the locking hole 12 on the lower surface of the case 1 (see FIG. 5A), thereby preventing the pin body 2 from falling off. To do.

As shown in FIG. 5A, a gap G is provided between the concave portion 10 described above and the upper straight portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20, and presses the contact terminal portion 21 downward. When the upper straight portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20 is bent downward by an external force, the U-shaped curved portion 20A of the U-shaped elastic body 20 is rotated and lifted to escape into the gap G.

In the present contact pin P, the inner ceiling surface 10B (see FIG. 3C) of the recess 10 is inclined at a gentle angle compared to the inclination of the upper straight portion 20B in the U-shaped elastic body 20, as described above. A clearance gap G was formed.

<Description of the operation of the contact pin P>
When mounting the contact pin P on the mobile phone T, first, as shown in FIG. 5A, the lead terminal portion 22 of the contact pin P is soldered to the land Rn of the first circuit board CB1.

Next, as shown in FIG. 5A, by placing the second circuit board CB2 on the first circuit board CB1 from above the contact pins P, the land Rn of the second circuit board CB2 is moved to the pin body. 2 contact terminal portions 21 are brought into contact with each other.

Then, the second circuit board CB2 is pushed down to a position indicated by a two-dot broken line in FIG. 5B with a predetermined force, and then the second circuit board CB2 is fixedly locked by a locking means (not shown). The mounting of the pin P is completed.

In the process of pushing down the second circuit board CB as described above, the contact terminal portion 21 is pushed downward by the pushing force. Moreover, the upper side linear part 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20 bends downward by an external force that presses the contact terminal part 21, and the contact terminal part 21 sinks downward according to the amount of the bend.

At the same time, the U-shaped bending portion 20A of the U-shaped elastic body 20 rotates and lifts in the direction indicated by the arrow R in the figure by the external force, and escapes into the gap G between the concave portion 10 and the U-shaped elastic body 20. As a result, the entire upper straight portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20 is inclined downward, so that the contact terminal portion 21 sinks further downward as shown in FIG. 5B. The state where the contact terminal portion 21 is sunk as shown in FIG. 5B is maintained by the fixing lock of the second circuit board CB2 described above.

As described above, in the contact pin P, when the contact terminal portion 21 is pressed downward by the external force, the upper linear portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20 is bent downward, and the U-shaped The contact terminal portion 21 sinks downward due to a synergistic effect with the action in which the entire upper straight portion 20B of the elastic body 20 is inclined downward. For this reason, in setting the sinking amount of the contact terminal portion 21 to a specified value, the amount of bending of the upper straight portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20 can be greatly reduced, and the upper straight portion 20B of the U-shaped elastic body 20 is reduced. Durability is improved in that the U-shaped elastic body 20 can be effectively prevented from being damaged due to repeated bending.

Further, according to the present contact pin P, since the contact terminal portions 21 of the four pin main bodies 2 are arranged in a staggered manner, compared to the four-line type in which the four pin main bodies 2 are arranged in one row, It is possible to widen the land interval and the land diameter of the lands with which the contact terminal portions 21 individually contact, and the resist film applied between the lands prevents the contact terminal portion 21 from contacting the lands. Reliability is improved in that (contact failure) can be effectively prevented.
