A sliding window seal, particularly for vehicles, comprises a channel section strip 7 of synthetic resin material with lips 10, 14 extending inwardly from the sides and base respectively of the channel which resiliently engage the marginal opposite sides and edge of a sliding window 5. The limbs of the channel strip spring apart for engagement with and retention by a rigid window frame 8.
