Abstract

903,267. Fork lift trucks. JUNGHEINRICH, F. Feb. 26, 1960 [April 6, 1959], No. 6756/60. Class 78 (3). A fork lift truck comprises a mast 2 movable on the truck chassis 4 in the longitudinal direction of the truck, a lifting slide movable vertically on the mast, lifting forks 1 connected to the lifting slide and movable in the longitudinal direction by scissors levers 3 and movable in the longitudinal direction. The forks 1 may be displaced a short distance transversely of the longitudinal axis of the truck so as to facilitate alignment with a load. This is effected by mounting the levers 3 so as to slide along transverse rails on the lifting slide. All the various movements are controlled from the driver's seat and are effected through hydraulic, electrical or mechanical means.
