Abstract

Cellular polyurethanes are obtained by adding a mixture of a tertiary amine, water and a fatty acid to the polyisocyanate-polyether reactants. Lists of suitable ingredients are given. Optional ingredients are pore-modifiers, e.g. polysiloxanes; condensates of ethylene oxide with phenols or with fatty acids and certain wetting agents; cross linkers; fillers; colourants and flameproofers.
