Abstract

854,406. Stoppers combined with pipettes &c. CIBA Ltd. Jan. 18, 1957 [Jan. 19, 1956], No. 2007/57. Class 125(3). A container closure consists of a conically tapered glass stopper member 30 having a bore 32 in which is inserted a tubular member 34 of polyvinyl chloride, cemented to the member 30 and having a pressure bulb 36, a detachable pipette 40 of glass being pushed into the lower end of member 34. The pipette 40 may be replaced by a spatula or other withdrawing device. In a modification, Fig. 2, the pressure bulb 37 is let into a depression 39 in the stopper member 31.
