831,183. Domestic mixers. ELECTROLUX A. B. Aug. 8, 1958, No. 25481/58. Class 86 In a liquid mixer attachment for a domestic kitchen machine, of the type comprising a beaker-like container 12 adapted to be supported by the electric motor housing 17 and having an agitator 11 (Fig. 1, not shown) driven by a shaft 15 journalled in the base 14 of the container, a collector 19 in the form of an annular channel having a discharge spout 21 is interposed between the container and the motor housing to intercept any liquid which may overflow from the container during operation. The container may have recesses 25 to engage studs 23 formed in the collector, which also has a collar 26 bearing, resiliently on the part-spherical upper portion 18 of the motor housing. Recesses 32 in the member 18 are engaged by projections 31 in a ring 29 secured to the collector, to form a bayonet joint by which the container is demountably attached to the motor housing.
