Class 108(1) [Also in Group XVII] A van body is made from separate panels 1 having integral reinforcing ribs 3 and marginal flanges 2 which are shaped at 4 to form a dovetail groove to accommodate packing 22. The ends of the body are formed from panels 12 supported in double T-shaped stiffening members 13. The panel members may extend over the roof and on both sides of the body or they may extend only to the centre of roof where they are joined by outwardly directed flanges covered by a capping member. The panels (Fig. 11) are provided with integral channels 32 and joggled flanges 34 held together by the capping members 35 and bolts 36.
