820,028. Fluid-actuated valves. STERNE & CO. Ltd., L., and TINSLEY, M. June 20, 1956, No. 19058/56. Class 135. A pressure relief valve 11 has an annular seat 1 on the end of an elongated cylindrical member of resilient material and a second annular seat 3 on the end of an elongated cylindrical member of rigid material coaxial with and supporting the resilient seat and adapted to limit the travel of the valve closure disc 10 in the closed position. The resilient seat stands slightly proud of the rigid seat and is clamped between the cylindrical members 4, 8 with a flange 5 clamped in a recess 7 formed between abutting flanges 6 and 9 of the members 4 and 8.
