In a cardboard box with an integral hinged lid, the top part 4 of the front wall 3 and the adjacent parts of the side walls are offset inwardly by an amount substantially equal to the thickness of the lid front and side walls. These parts extend upwardly into the lid to ensure a tight fit when it is closed. Specifications 507,998 and 585,020 are referred to.
