Abstract
A herbicidal or plant growth regulant composition, preferably containing a hormone type weed killer, contains a small percentage preferably 0,5 to 5 per cent of one or more polyalkylene glycol compounds preferably having a molecular weight in the range of 800-2000. The glycol compound may be a polypropylene glycol or a mixed polyethylene glycol-polypropylene glycol e.g. comprising a copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide having a central polypropylene glycol block flanked by two polyethylene glycol residues.ALSO:A herbicidal or plant growth regulant composition, preferably containing a hormone-type weed-killer, contains a small percentage, preferably 0.5 to 5 per cent, of one or more polyalkylene glycol compounds preferably having a molecular weight in the range of 800-2000. The glycol compound may be a polypropylene glycol or a mixed polyethylene glycol-polypropylene glycol, e.g. comprising a copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide having a central polypropylene glycol block flanked by two polyethylene glycol residues.
