Class 125 (3) [Also in Group VI] A closure member for a tubular ampoule is cup-shaped and of resilient material and the bottom of the closure member includes an annular flexible area which defines the margin of an axially-invertible central bottom portion. As shown in Fig. 1 the closure member 73 has a circular side wall 73a and an invertible end portion 73d. When used in a hypodermic jet injector having a primary plunger 80 and a secondary plunger 90, Fig. 6, the end portion 73d is first inverted by the plunger 80 and the plunger 90 then moves the complete closure member along the ampoule 71 until the parts reach the position shown in Fig. 8.
