689,794. Delivering measured quantities by volume. JONSSON, H. B. June 9, 1950 [June 15, 1949], No. 14463/50. Class 106 (v) Apparatus for delivering material in measured quantities by volume from a container 1 comprises a measure connected to the container, the measure including a first tube 3 secured to the container and provided with an inlet slide valve 15, a second tube 4 slidable in the first tube and provided with an outlet valve in the form of a plate 9 pivoted to the inside wall of said second tube 4, and an arm 10 for actuating said plate 9 pivoted to an operating handle 11 slidable in a longitudinal aperture 12 in the second tube. The two tubes are locked in their adjusted position by a screw 5 moving in a longitudinal aperture in the tube 3.
