Abstract

688,545. Pouring outlets for bottles or cans. READS, Ltd., and GREGGAINS, P. K. W. Dec. 18, 1950 [Dec. 16, 1949], No. 32333/49. Classes 66 and 125(iii) A pouring outlet for bottles or cans &c. has a sleeve 12 fitted over the neck 11 of the bottle &c., a tapered body 13 and a tubular nozzle 14. It is made of polythene, rubber, or paper &c. sufficiently flexible to allow it to be collapsed inwardly. An air inlet hole may be provided at the narrow end of the body 13, and be covered by a cap 15 which may be screw-threaded. The sleeve 12 may also be screw-threaded or beaded &c. and may be smaller than the neck 11 and be stretched thereover. The nozzle end may be sealed initially by a thin diaphragm.
