Abstract
678,559. Hanging pictures &c. BOSSONS, W. R. June 30, 1950. [March 30, 1949] No. 8560/49. Class 52 (iv). [Also in Groups V and XV] A wall plaque has formed in its back a recess or groove 18 in the side walls of which is moulded, during the casting operation (see Group V), a wire 141 extending across the recess whereby the plaque can be hung flat against a surface with the suspension means remaining invisible. The back of the plaque may be flat apart from the recess but, as shown, it is dome-shaped, with a circular flange 16a and a central part 121 which at its highest point is level with the edge of the flange. Two spaced ribs 17 provide the recess 18 and the wire ends are moulded into the ribs. A wire bent to a V-shaped at its centre may be employed instead of a straight wire.
