Abstract
667,300. Dough - moulding machines. RINGNALDA, J. B. G. July 5, 1949. [March 21, 1949] No. 17694/49. Class 87(ii). A dough-moulding machine of the type having co-operating impression and pressing rollers is provided with a number of impression rollers, any one of which may be brought into the operative position. Pressure roller 1 co-operates with impression rollers 10<SP>1</SP>, 10<SP>11</SP>, 10<SP>111</SP> which are mounted in a rotatable annular frame 11 so that any one of them may be brought to the operative position on rotation of a pinion D. The pressure roller 1 is mounted, together with knife 3, driving roller 6 and a further pressure roller 5, on a frame A pivoted at B and connected to the pinion D by a rod C by means of which the frame is rocked backwards as the new roll is brought into position. At the same time bell crank I is rocked to release guiding roller 18 and scraper 9 from the take-off belt 4. The machine may be of the type in which the dough figures are formed in relief upon the pressure roller 1 and are subsequently scraped off with a knife.
