[Class 52 (v)] [Also in Group VII] A trouser &c. suspender consists of a pair of pivoted arms a, a<SP>1</SP> carried by a suspending hook i, the free ends d of the arms being inserted into a leg of the trousers. The arms are spring pressed apart to grip the trouser leg by links f pivoted between the arms and the lower end of the hook i and each provided with a compression spring h. A second pair of arms a, a<SP>1 </SP>spaced from the first pair is provided, the links f and springs h being common to both pairs of arms.
