636,097. Waterproof knickers. GOLD, R. March 4, 1948, No. 6796. [Class 141] Knickers for young children are formed from a blank 19 of waterproof material having the ends 10, 11 and leg recesses 12, 13 bordered by resilient bands, the garment being held in position on the wearer when folded by press stud fastener elements 26, 27. These may be provided on binding strips 25 extended to form loops 28 on pulling which the garment is quickly detachable. The resilient borders may be formed by rubber strips sewn into the hems or by rubber binding strips.
